The readouts are simple and easy to understand. It pushes 30+ amps every day with no problems. When the fans come on they are very quiet. A good unit.

   I purchased the 60A MPPT Solar Charge Controller two months ago, for my 1200W solar tracker system with a 24V 280Ah battery bank mounted on a trailer for mobile use, and so far, I’m content. Setting it up was straightforward, and it seems to be efficiently managing the power from my solar panels. It has versatility as it is designed for various battery types (FLD, LiFePO4, SLD, GEL, AGM), although I’m currently running it with my LiFePO4 setup. While I haven’t had it for an extended period yet, the MPPT technology seems to be doing its job effectively, optimizing the energy harvest for my mobile off-grid needs. The dual USB port is not currently in use, but it is a handy addition for charging devices directly from the battery bank. Based on this initial experience, I recommend giving the Topbull 60A MPPT a try – I’m pleased with its performance!

   Arrived well packaged, with sturdy foam inserts to hold it in place in the box. The solar charge controller has a hefty metal heatsink on the back, twin cooling fans on the top and a large useful screen on the front. The USB ports are also handy on the bottom. Installation was easy, using the supplied template, such that the screw distances are exact when mounting on a wall. Operation is really good, with a solid output all the time, 32.7A shown on the attached picture. It’s very handy to know, at a glance, the voltage and amperage amounts passing through. Am very pleased with the purchase and would recommend this 40A solar charge controller without hesitation!

   I have a small 8 panel 800 watt solar array and two 12 volt 100 amp hour lithium LiFePO4 batteries so this controller is perfect.
   The LCD display is easy to read and informative. It’s keeping my batteries at 100% charge after only a few hours of sun.
   So far it remained very stable in all kinds of weather (it’s located in an outdoor cabinet) and remains cool.

   One important caveat – the unit automatically selected gel cell batteries instead of lithium so I had to go in and change that parameter – which was easy and only took a minute.

   Nice little economical mppt charge controller. I have the 20 amp model. So far it’s working well. Easy to set the parameters and the manual is very well done and very informative. They really did a nice job on the manual. The only con for me is the displays a little small for my senior citizen eyes but I just use my reading glasses. Once I get some more panels I may purchase a bigger one. The tech support was very responsive and I got a reply almost immediately for the one question I had. Thanks again

    A total turd. Display is hard to read and is not intuitive. Also inaccurate; for example, solar inputting 11 amps but controller says zero. Cheap plastic build. I have seen better at half the cost.
