This cable is made using high quality insulation and 100% copper conductors. The wires are very fine stranded conductors which means they will remain flexible for a long time. Read the fine print on competitors offerings, copper plated aluminum wire is becoming more common. The supplied three prong connector is only rated for 120 Volt AC use, so if you are contemplating using it on your welder, you should change to an approved 240 Volt AC connector. The cable itself is rated for 600 Volts AC, so it will b e OK to use on 240 Volts AC.
