   Solar panels never provide their rated capacity, especially over USB. This one is magic. It produces MORE. The USB-C port alone produces 33 watts. Using USB-C and USB-A together I got 43 watts from this 40 watt panel. That’s insane. The screenshot is after it got heated by the sun which reduced it to 40 watts…this panel is awesome.

   Have not thoroughly tested yet but the quality looks very durable. It’s got a thick rigid layer over the cells to protect them and folds nicely

   The USB A and C ports really should have been higher output to better use the 60W of production.
   Those ports maxed out at about 20W. What’s the point of a 60W panel that only puts out 20W?

   Shading is also a problem. The panels are wired in series, so even a partial shadow on one panel cripples production.
   It really should have been 4x-voltage panels wired in parallel for maximum robustness in a world with tree cover and a moving sun

   Firstly, I received a clearly used unit. The outer was dented all over, presumably from small stones/gravel. This in and of itself is terrible.

   Secondly, in reasonable sun, as a test, my iPhone charged 8% in 35 minutes. I then attached a power bank and it barely charged.

   All in all, based on what I received and how well it works, would not buy again.

   This a very well designed solar panel, SunJack pretty much thought of everything and packed it into a relatively compact panel. It has two kickstands, a pocket to store accessories, the USB ports are waterproof (mine still works after getting hit with rain), folds up to a compact size, includes adapter cables so it’s compatible with just about any device. In direct sun I was getting around 34 watts from the USB-C port, making it able to rapidly charge any PD30 enabled devices. One downside is it’s a little heavy due to its construction and included kickstands, pocket and accessories, but that’s a good trade off for me.

   i saw youtube reviews claiming 16w out of 25w from thie pannels,
   and i taught thats good enough, but the most i get is 10.4w

   so dissapointed, i should have bought the 15w smaller pannel instead since 10.4w is soo little for the size in my opinion

   I just got both the Anker Solix PS30 30w solar panel and the Sunjack 40w solar panel and did a side-by-side comparison of both. Both in full direct sunlight no clouds in same exact location with sun at 1 o’clock angle (optimal conditions) C1: Anker PS30 only puts out max of 12.2w C2: Sunjack 40w puts out max 34.1w Clearly the Sunjack is a much better solar panel with nearly 3x the power output of the Anker even taking into account the 10w power difference. Sunjack 40w performs as described unlike Anker Solix PS30. I will be returning the Anker Solix PS30
