Plugged right in on my edge cameras with no adapters. Great signal.

If you use the Moultrie Edge cellular camera then this solar panel will pay for itself in one hunting season.
My Edge cameras were needing new AA batteries every other week. Depending on the brand of batteries, the cost was around $5 to $8 per camera every time I had to change them. That cost adds up quickly, especially when the batteries go dead and you’re still paying for the monthly subscription.
I’ve installed four of these panels so far. The cost savings is great, but the convenience of not having to take the time to swap batteries or worry about dead cameras is the real advantage.

The solar packs are great for saving a lot of money on AA batteries. Moultrie uses 16 AA’s for every swap. Since switching to the solar packs, I have not bought any more AA batteries.

I bought this for my 11yr old son, who was eating through my lithium batteries like crazy. One of the spots is limited sun but, a lot of activity. Not sure if him checking the app uses battery for the camera (it’s a cell one) but, he checks its NON STOP! We’ve had a lot of rain the last few weeks and his battery still shows 93%. I’m just a mom, my kid knows a lot more than I do about this kind of stuff but, it certainly has saved me money on the batteries and it was cheaper than the battery pack that I’ve gotten for his other cameras.

Great addition to the Tech buildout for next season. 3500mAh battery is part of the device, but another battery is still recommended for the camera itself (giving 7000mAh total). I’m still working out how many more Solar panels to buy, and the number and size of camera batteries.

We have 8 Moultrie Edge cameras, we have solar panels on all of them. The last two solar panels we bought were these Moultrie units. I’ve been disappointed in them. They’ve not performed as well as the other brands we bought. They don’t seem to charge as well nor maintain there charge as long.
I’m disappointed in these because the Edge cameras are awesome.

Wha a piece of junk! Took 2 days to charge before 1st use. Placed in direct sunlight. Went dead after 2 days. Retrieved unit and brought back home to re-charge. Been plugged in now for 3 days and it is still not fully charged! Absolutely worthless! Seen others reviews about problems with this unit but decided to give it a try. What a waste of time and money! Reverted back to regular batteries. At least they work correctly.
