   My little Honda has hundreds of hours on it, and my only real issue has been moving it around. For something that is called a portable generator its portability is poor. Today is generator maintenance day so I figured I’d install the wheel kit. I opened the box, removed all the parts, and found a random nut rolling around. The rims are a two-piece design, and they use four nuts and bolts to hold them together. Everything would be fine if the random bolt would have also been floating around the box, but it isn’t. To get the kit installed I had to remove another bolt & nut, drive to the not so close hardware store, match them up, spend and extra couple dollars, drive home, and finally install the wheels. What should have taken 10 minutes turned into nearly two hours. Once installed the kit works well. While the wheels make the little generator more bulky, it glides over dirt, grass, and gravel. Nice product but deducting a couple stars for lack of QA.

   Haven’t installed this yet, but I picked it up to make moving my Honda EU3000is generator a lot easier. The solid, never-flat tires look rugged and should handle uneven ground without issues. I like that it comes with everything needed—axles, spacers, and cotter pins. Planning to use it for camping and home backup, so the all-terrain capability and low-maintenance design are big pluses. Looking forward to putting it to the test soon.

   It was a challenge to get the brackets on. This didn’t come with instructions but it didn’t take long to figure it out. Once I jacked up the generator I lined up the holes on the wheel brackets with the bolts on the underside. It fit nicely and functions as intended. A great value for the money. And recommend for anyone who prefers a smoother transport.

   These are very large heavy-duty tires for a generator. I suspect they could handle a generator twice the size of what they are made for. I’m very pleased with the sturdiness of these tires. The axel should be slightly heavier to stand up to the movement of the generator. These tires should outlast the life of the generator. A very good set of tires.
