   Using this as part of a small 12V system and it works great with an MPPT charge controller. I’m pulling decent wattage even through a window on cloudy days. Tested it against another 100W panel and the output matched. Feels sturdy, MC4 connectors were tight, and voltage readings are spot on. Only complaint is the caulking around the frame could be cleaner, but that’s more cosmetic than functional. If you’re set up for 24V input, this is a great value.

   This review should have been for the panel I ordered. I ordered the Futuresolar 100W Monocrystalline 12V Panel. I received a 24V Panel instead. So since I have it instead, then I will review it for tugapower.net customers. Disclaimer: Even though I received the wrong panel, I am an avid solar builder and user: Meaning I can make this work with what I am doing. All it takes is the right Solar Charger/Regulator to accomplish this. It must be rated for 12/24VDC input and configured for 12V battery charging. Now back to the (24V) 100W Solar Panel Let’s talk price… If I had purchased it, I would have paid $59.99 at this point in time. If I would have received a 12V 100W panel I would think I got an excellent deal. Even so, the 24V 100W panel is a great deal too. If all was based on top quality. Quality: Well now here is where it gets a little sloppy. The aluminum frame is good and strong as any other panel I have. The protected corners are good for the panel too. There are the properly spaced bracket holes (4) for mounting on a rail or roof. The front side appears to be made very well. All solder/foil connections are smooth and well made. I find no issues on the front. The panel uses standard MC4 connectors which I find to work very well in all my applications. The power box is surprisingly well sealed from moisture. The box also has well soldered connections so no problems there. Now for the area of concern to me. The panel is inserted within the metal frame and should have a good bead of caulk all the way around the inside edges. That is not the case with the one I received. See the photos. I pause here to let you look at them. I don’t know if that will be a problem or not in inclement weather, but it really takes the same amount of time to do it right than it does looking the way it is. How Does It Perform? Well at the moment I am not set up for a 24V system to do major tests on this 24V panel, but I did measure the output voltage. It is rated for 29.70 open voltage and I got 29.8VDC. I tested on a bright, cloudless, sunny day and set optimum angle using a dot angle finder. This so far is telling me that I can count on some good wattage out of this panel. So in the end, I am reviewing the 24V panel sent instead of the 12V one. My review is as such: This is a decent panel for the price offered. I expected it to be lower quality just having seen the price alone. And again, I emphasise the panel itself is good. It was just the caulking/sealing issue I have. I give this panel 3 Stars for meeting my expectations. That may change in the near future when I can run some wattage tests on it and connect it properly to my 12V system. Do I still recommend this panel. Yes IF you need a 24V panel. And some or most RV’rs do need 24V systems. Other notable mentions: In the “About this Item” It mentions Portable and Lightweight. Well this is not “A compact and foldable design” And it does weight 13lbs. You do not want to be just toting one of these around. It is meant to be fixed to something. UPDATE: 2/14/2025 A beautiful sunny day to set up and test this panel for you guys and gals. As you will see in the photos provided, reference numbers in the bottom left corner to aid in explaining the photo. 001 This is the solar charge regulator I am using because you can use either 12/24VDC with it. This panel being a 24VDC. I will plug the panel into the side of my homemade solar charger box for power storage. 002 Setup on the ground facing directly into the sun. 003 Backside of panel with my charging rig. 004 The battery monitor that tracks charging as well as discharging. 005 Showing I am receiving a charge from the panel. It is taking in 24V and charging my battery with the proper 12Volts This is an MPPT controller. 006 This shows the internals of my build. 50Ah LiFePO4 battery. 007 Shows the input from the panel. This particular input allows a solar panel of either 12V or 24V. Then this power goes through the controller and then into the battery. 009 On the opposite side, there are two more ports. XT60 allows 12VDC IN or OUT. The port labeled charger is strictly and INPUT. I can charge this battery through this port with a wall brick or an external solar charger regulator and panel. 011 Shows my Power storage box closed. This box can be open or closed while charging or discharging. The monitor is very handy displaying incoming voltage, Amps, Watts and battery percentage and time remaining for charge completion or till dead battery. Test Results: I started the test with 92% remaining battery. I set up the 24V panel for optimum gain, and plugged it into my solar charging port. I was charging at around 3.01 amps, 13.5V with 41Watts. Of course it took less than a couple of hours to fully charge my power bank. So despite getting the wrong panel, I was able to use it and I am happy to say I am very impressed with how it works. Again despite the crappy caulking job, the panel is a Solid Performer. This raises my Star rating to four stars total. So yes I recommend this 24V panel should you need one. Now I know why RV’s like 24V systems. Fast and efficient charging ability.

   This is a great panel and it’s working well in a very small solar setup I have in my office. It’s connected via a breaker/disconnect to my MPPT controller and charging a couple of 12v lifepo4 batteries I have in parallel.

   Overall, I’m really impressed with this panel and may pick up another one!

   This solar panel works nice. It is 100W at 24V, and when hooked up to my controller I have no problems quickly charging 12V batteries. The panel is pretty large and thus pretty heavy, it did not come with any mounting hardware. In direct sun it averages 85W output, with the peak being 95W. Overall quite pleased with it. Good value.

   I couldn’t find the specs, so I attached a picture of the specs at the rear or the panel. Overall it’s an excellent panel. It produces just as much as another 100W panel I have, I tested in cloudy atmosphere and both produced around 18W. Since the other produces 100W at full sun, this one looks just as good It is sturdy and looks great. I prefer 24V panels and you should too, if your charger can handle it, compared to 12V panels, because a higher voltage for the same watts means less current, so less resistive losses in the cables. I tested on my Ecoflow power station which can take up to 50V so this is well within specifications. Great panel overall!

   Item description incorrect. It is 24v rather not 12v.

   Update: The Description has been corrected. I tested the panel with two different charge controllers with good results.

   I did a full sunlight analysis with a panel analyzer with the following results:
   PMax 103.2 watts
   Vmp 25.25 volts
   Imp 4.09 amps
   VOC. 30.29 volts

   Panel is not as sturdy feeling as others I have.
