- Automatic Transfer Switch: The automatic transfer switch on our generators is configured to prioritize generator power. When the generator stops running, it automatically switches to utility power with a green light indicating that generator power is active. In addition, the transfer switch continuously monitors the status of the utility power, so that if the utility power goes out, the generator will automatically start without the need for additional wiring, providing you with great convenience.
- Dual Protection: The 50 AMP Automatic Transfer Switch is pre-wired to automatically convert the primary source of AC power from shore power to generator or inverter power upon startup. Mechanical interlocks and control circuits are protected against short circuits caused by two separate 120/240 volt AC power sources entering the AC switchboard at the same time.
- RV Transfer Switch: This automatic transfer switch is perfect for anyone who needs seamless power management for their RV or speedboat. With an operating voltage of 240VAC, a current rating of 50A and a neutral current of 70A, this switch can efficiently switch between different power sources, ensuring that you won’t run out of power while you’re traveling.
- Easy Installation: Our 50 Amp Transfer Switch has an easy to remove protective cover with wiring diagram. When installing, note that there are different locations for light and heavy duty wires. Before proceeding, please note where they are connected and after plugging in the power cord, reinsert the light duty cord into its original position. You can also find installation videos on youtube.
- Strong Construction: Made of sturdy and durable metal casing, the product surface is coated with a coating process that is waterproof, rust-proof and corrosion-resistant, which is ideal for outdoor RV or home emergency back-up use and ensures long-lasting performance under all conditions. If you have any question about this generator transfer switches, please contact us.

Swapped for a unit damaged in a brown out. For better than the original it replaced. Only down vote is for the cross feed. Technically 50 amp rated, 10awg 105c cable. But then it’s in contact with the service cable which isn’t 105c.

Pretty well made box. Nice and durable and rigid. I like that the hinges are on the top and bottom so that the fasteners are out of the way of working inside the box, unlike another unit I had
The contactor works really well. Has a nice solid ka-chunk. Easy to wire up and follow instructions.

I installed one of these to allow powering an emergency panel. I moved all the essential loads (AC, well pump, septic, refrigerators, lights) to a separate panel. The transfer switch allows me to power the emergency panel from a 12 kW generator without possibility of back-feeding to the grid. There are two relays that are mechanically interlocked. If one relay is energized, the other one is prevented from switching. My first one has been in continuous service for two years. I bought a second one to have as a spare.

Installed easily and worked great out of the box in my 50A RV. Only issue is that it smells like warm new electrical component for at least the first month. Also it buzzes when under load. Definitely suggest!

Didn’t work. Wouldnt transfer the load. Just would click. Bought another brand and it worked great.
