   Maybe you’re considering buying this like I was to crimp the ends yourself to save a dollar or two. It works correctly but it was a project to crimp the cables. I had to use a replacement male metal contact after the included one was unusable after two bad crimps. By the way, to date, I crimped about 20 MC4 cable ends in my life and this was the worst experience. Granted, it works correctly in the end, but it took some effort and aggravation. If you’re trying to save money like I did to do-it-yourself, go for it. Hopefully your experience will be better than mine. I would not buy this particular cable set again.

   Review of: NuFlySic 40Ft 10AWG Solar Panel Extension Cable Each color of wire is 40 feet long, I measured as wasn’t sure it really was. It comes with 1 end of each color having the connector already installed and the other end unfinished, I guess this is so you could cut the wire at exact length and then install the connector. It comes with 2 connectors and 2 of the typical solar wrenches. I have found having a proper crimper really makes the connections easier and better than trying to crimp with pliers. There is no crimper included as those are $20 or more each. The description says 10 AWG, but the wire is not marked with that, closest thing to that marking is the ” H1Z2Z2-K 1×6.0 mm2 ” marking which is a European standard. that is approximately 10 AWG. I cannot use this until late Spring, but everything looks OK.

   Its wire and cable of great quality in my opinion. I am not a wire expert by any means but i have held more than a few in my hands through my life for multiple projects and i must say this is one of the highest quality looking and feeling ones i have tried. Im using this particular wire to extend the distance from my solar panels to the battery controller. Oh yeah, and it works, thought i should mention that.
