This is a very nicely constructed generator inlet box and cord, all the fittings and screws have rubber seals. There are two extra fittings for the box, one of which is a rubber seal for when you run the wire into the box. It’s completely waterproof and it’s a good deal considering you get both the box and the cord. Easy to read instructions are included, however, if you’re not familiar with residential electrical wiring, I would advise on getting an electrician. The most useful part to me is the cord. 99% of the year I will not be using my generator to power my house. I don’t lose power often, but it’s better to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it. The cord is the same as my campers, only shorter. It plugs into both my generator and my camper with ease and no struggling.

I was impress when I recieved this product. Over all good quality. It is as advertised. My set have a minor issue, the extra MC4 connectors were missing the metal pin for it. As it is circled in red on attached picture. Messaged the supplier and agreed to give me a partial refund since they are out of stock for the missing items. I purchased new set of MC4 connectors. They are really helpful in solving the issue.

HEAVY DUTY 30A Controller. I really like this thing. It is chunky, well built and works great. I hooked it up to one of my solar panel sets and tested it out. Like with most controllers, be sure to check polarity of your cords/battery extensions, etc. when hooking up. It literally took me minutes to set up. I hooked the battery up and then connected the solar panel and all systems were up and running. The controller does a boot up system test and then started charging the battery. I tried it on a small 7 AH LIFEPO4 and then hooked it up to my 100 AH LIFEPO4 battery and it is a smooth operator. The controller works on both 12V / 24V and has an auto mode and manual mode for both the solar panel and the battery you are hooking to it. I manually set the battery to LIFEPO4 by pressing the setting switch for 3 seconds while I had battery indicator selected. You just select the battery voltage and type and exit the menu. Piece of cake. This is one of many controllers I own. Some of the controllers are in go-boxes for remote power and a couple other higher-end chargers are more permanent mounts. This one will be a permanent setup at my remote office. I am pairing it with a 100 watt panel and will use it to keep a 100AH battery charged for emergency power. I keep ham radios, a computer/monitor, USB lights and a few other essentials hooked up at the remote for emergencies. This controller will work great for that. Price is reasonable for the quality of the controller. I would recommend this!

I've purchased a total of 17 batteries of this model. All are in perfect condition and perform as specified by the manufacturer in terms of capacity. The finish and build quality are excellent. I'm very happy with this product.

First of all, this portable power station looks so good, light weight. I was so impressive with it's weight, and how fast it was charged. (with the fan on.) My watch, cellphone, camera and laptop all have type C charging cable, but this power bank only has 1 type C and 2 USB, which is not convenient, but acceptable. However, this is a defective product at all. It's power output is way too low. and does not charge my laptop at all. When I plug in my computer, it either does not charge or uses my computer's battery to charge it's own. I tried different cable, and different devices, it just does not work. I turned it off and on to restart it, I checked the manual guide, I downloaded the app, did not find any solution. The type C only provide 5-7 W for me, the AC output provides more, but the fan is too loud at night, when I placed it on my night stand. The USB port provide 1-3 W. The APP does not always work either, the setting automatically changed the turnoff time, and it just disconnected. I am so disappointed. This product looks so good, but does not work at all.

This portable, foldable solar panel feels really solid—nothing flimsy about it. The handles are sturdy, making it easy to move around, and the pull-out stand, though lightweight, holds the panel at a great angle for optimal sun exposure. When not in use, it secures neatly with velcro. The included charging cable is nice and long, giving flexibility when positioning the panel. I appreciate the multiple USB ports for directly charging smaller devices, plus the generous selection of adapters for various power banks. I tested it with both my small 160Wh power bank and a larger 1440Wh one, and it charged both effectively using the provided adapters. The little pouch attached to the backside of the panel is perfect for carrying the accessories, keeping everything together as a set. I don't know if I'd use it for backpacking (because of the size), but for camping or working at the beach, it's perfect. Overall, it’s a great backup energy source for emergencies or for when I’m on the go.

Been using this solar panel with my Nest Cam (Battery 2nd Gen) - it actually works better than expected. The magnet clicks securely into the camera and hasn't leaked during heavy rain. My favorite part? Since I installed this solar panel on my roof, it always shows 'Solar' status , even when it's cloudy for days. And I love how the 13ft cable allowed me to mount the panel under my roof edge while keeping the camera near my garage. The swivel mount was easy to adjust toward sunlight without tools. 100% worth it to never see that 'Battery Low' alert again!

This was the 1st N-type 16 Bus Bar panel I have tested and it didn't disappoint. I have about a half dozen P-Type panels for different manufacturers and this panel was much smaller than my older 100W panels. Also, this is a true 100W panel. The older panels would be listed as "100W" but most of the time you would seldom ever see the max wattage. I tested this panel on a sunny day at noon sun, but it is winter so the sun angle isn't ideal. However, This panel was still able to hit 23V and just above 4Amps which was right at about 95W with the panel pointed directly at the sun. I consider this very good for a 100W panel. Now the reason for the 4 starts instead of 5.... Had I not also been testing another N-type panel at the same time, I would have easily given this panel a 5 star rating. But the very next panel I tested beat this panel, both in price, and size. in the included image, I have another panel side by side and it is slightly smaller than the Zoupw panel and it was able to give the exact same wattage results even though it is a smaller size. Out of respect for ZoupW, I edited the side by side photo to not include manufacturer's info. I would still recommend this panel, but it isn't the best deal out there.

UPDATE: Seller got in touch with me right away. Says the extra batteries WILL be available about May 2025. I've raised my rating from1 to 3 stars due to their quick response and clear answer. Will have to now wait and see if they actually offer additional batteries in the Spring. If so, I'll UPDATE my review again. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Works GREAT as a standalone unit, but one of the reasons I bought THIS unit (Ampace 1500) was because they promoted that you could connect additional batteries to extend usable time. GONE from their website, GONE from their tugapower.net Store, are ANY mention of those additional battery packs. From the user manual: "An additional battery can be connected to increase the power capacity of the Andes 1500." "Using extra battery -This product can be connected with up to seven extra batteries at the same time, to meet higher capacity needs." (The image is from the manual, too.) Now I'm wondering how dependable the company is for other claims. I noticed another reviewer gave a lower rating for the same reason, too. Are there extra batteries for this? If so, what is the cost and availability? If not, can I get a full refund on my purchase (from) Oct 8, 2024? I'll update my review/rating after getting a response from Ampace.

Battery is great, but this is the 2nd DC power cord that has failed in less than 6 months. When I'm off grid, I have no other way to power up battery. the part that connects to outlet gets loose and does not stay connected and the connection gets very, very hot. I used this in my 2021 camper 12v outlet and my truck 12 volt outlet. The first one's tip looked like it got singed. Going to try another cord this next time. In the meantime I've no power to battery. I've had no problem with the AC electric brick connection in the past.

Pros: - Heavy Duty 10AWG cables. - Molded Twist Lock Plug Connectors. - Molded on Strain Reliefs. - ETL Certified. - Working Temperature to -50 F. - Carrying Strap to keep Cord Organized. Cons: - 15ft may be a little short. This Ficstar 30Amp 4-Prong Extension cord is nicely heavy duty and remains flexible down to -50F. An absolute necessity if you live in a location that gets COLD in the winter. It can be very frustrating if the power goes out in the winter and you can't unroll your extension cord to plug into the backup generator because the cord is frozen stiff from the low temperatures. The molded plug ends and strain reliefs are appreciated for durability. I have had many times where the plug end separates from the cable (especially in cold weather) because the plug was not molded to the cord or the casing separated at the plug because there was no strain relief. While it is easy to store and carry, a 15ft cord length is kind of minimal when connecting up a generator to a panel. Fortunately, Ficstar also offers these extension cords in 25ft and 40ft lengths. You can always use a extension cord that is longer than your needs. You can never stretch an extension cord that is too short to reach.

Using this to hook up a 50W solar panel to my Meshtastic node, and it works perfectly. Solid build quality, clean connection, and no issues at all. Just plug and go. Great little cable for the price.

I dislike the solar panel WILL NOT charge the generator.

This double cable appears to be well made and has a quality look and feel. The red and black cables are connected together, so don’t tangle easily. The red wire is marked, ‘10 AWG, 600V’ and nothing about them makes me doubt those markings as they’re quite thick and heavy. Despite the thickness, it rolls onto and off a cable reel easily. The connectors are robust and long, extending well down the cable, which they are secured to firmly. I used it to recharge a backup battery power supply with 12V DC. The connectors didn’t even get warm. This is exactly what I needed and I wouldn’t change a thing about it.
