My little Honda has hundreds of hours on it, and my only real issue has been moving it around. For something that is called a portable generator its portability is poor. Today is generator maintenance day so I figured I’d install the wheel kit. I opened the box, removed all the parts, and found a random nut rolling around. The rims are a two-piece design, and they use four nuts and bolts to hold them together. Everything would be fine if the random bolt would have also been floating around the box, but it isn’t. To get the kit installed I had to remove another bolt & nut, drive to the not so close hardware store, match them up, spend and extra couple dollars, drive home, and finally install the wheels. What should have taken 10 minutes turned into nearly two hours. Once installed the kit works well. While the wheels make the little generator more bulky, it glides over dirt, grass, and gravel. Nice product but deducting a couple stars for lack of QA.

I have a pair of EcoFlow Delta 3 Pro solar generators and they offer 220V outputs without using the double voltage hub to run my electric dryer. The 220/208V plug uses the L14-30R which is two hot plus a neutral and ground at 30A. The dryer cord is only 4 feet and I needed 12 feet from the solar generators to the dryer and this cord is just the right length and current capacity and gives me 4 + 10 + (1 foot for the adapter plug) with enough slack to connect to either generator. Both sides of the extension worked perfectly twist locking on the generator and the adapter plug. I was able to connect the dryer with a few feet of slack and had no issues only 1 minute to connect.

Hands down dependable. A little slow to charge but to be expected for this smaller portable unit. Keeps the portable fridge and portable O2 concentrator running in our vehicle. Also used for our Starlink during power outages in the house

This is a heavy, durable, and seemingly well made electrical cord. In my testing it worked perfectly. It fits the 4 prong 30 amp connectors correctly at both ends.

Pros: Nice and compact and not too heavy. It uses 12.8V 18Ah LiFePO4 batteries which has more charge cycle than the NMC battery and it is also a safer too. The AC output Voltage is 110 Vac and it does maintain at this Voltage level with 250W load, most other brands the output Voltage will drop down to lower level. It has a good display and is easy to read. It has two USB A (5V 3A) outputs, and one USB C (100W) output which is more than enough to run small lap top. It has non-regulated 10- 14.2V 120W cigarette output. It has non-regulated 10- 14.2V 120W 5521 Dc output. It has nice and bright diffused lights on the back which is really good. It comes with all the cables for charging from the car or from the solar panel (MC4 connector). It comes with 12V dc 5A (60W) Ac adapter for charging the unit. It has pass through charging, which I verify but in one page of the user manual it says not to have AC load running while charging, so that is a very confusing statement. The AC output is pure sine wave and the wave form does not change when I have 250W load running. Battery capacity test with AC load, 80W, comes out to be at 188Wh, about 80% which is acceptable. Cons: It only has 230Wh of battery capacity, I wished it is 300Wh or more to get more run time from it but then the price will go up. Notes: you can use 12.8V LiFePO4 with higher capacity feeding the DC input to extend the run time. It has hibernation mode that will shut down the power if the load is less than 5W after 8 hours, I wished it would let you turn the hibernation mode off if needed. Over all it is not a bad little unit for running small loads while camping. It was on sale for $99 so that is a really good deal for a power station with its features.

I love the design and portability. But, that's about it. I tried plugging in my phone, but the connection between the port and the cord is somewhat loose. If I hold the point of connection just right, it charges. But if I plug it in and leave it, the charge is simply hit or miss. The AC Outlet functions, but it is weak. It'd be okay for a light or small fan. But I would not feel comfortable using it with equipment that needs a strong/steady draw of electricity. My candle warmer displays an obvious difference when plugged in to the inverter and when plugged in to the wall outlet. If I can see the difference with just a simple little halogen bulb.....

I received this generator in the evening and the box was in tatters. The only thing holding the cardboard to the gen was a fiber strap around the box. The Generator was in fair condition despite the very poor shipping container. There is a small dent in the motor cover that does not affect operation. I let that slide. The powder coating on the frame and handles has spots that are not entirely coated and the metal shows through. Again this doesn't affect operation. The assembly was straight forward and the wheels while cheap plastic are more that sufficient for moving the gen around. The oil dipstick and fill hole are awkwardly placed under the motor and very low to the ground. You might want to consider a ramp and table to work on this gen if you have back problems or limited mobility (squatting, getting on hands and knees, etc.}. Put something under the oil fill hole, catch pan, cardboard, something to catch the inevitable oil spill. The oil they send with the unit is .74 quarts which is what the generator says it holds. Unfortunately, you cannot just fill it, as it will have some oil in it from factory testing and this means that the oil will spill out if you just fill it up. (I am speaking from my experience, your mileage may vary.) Fortunately, I had laid thick large carboard sheet down before filling the oil. This prevented the mess I could have had. {I should have used a clean pan to catch the oil and put it back in the bottle.) The unit is heavy. Be aware of this and do not try to pick it up alone unless you are used to lifting heavy weights. Use the handle and wheels and the gen is easy to move. I have run the generator with a very light load for five hours to break the motor in, according to directions. The engine started after three pulls with the choke on and ran very well after the choke was turned off. I ran a meter on the load and found the voltage to be 121v under light load and 61hz. I suspect, under a running load, this will come down to more operational ranges. I will update once I have the electrical connections to my power panel installed and have tested the unit under various loads. NOTE- This Generator has a high harmonic distortion of less than or equal to 23% listed in the manual and on this site. You can research this. My finding was that it probably won't matter for most things. Anything that has a power block is probably converting to DC power and so will not be a problem. If you are concerned or have a LOT of high value electronics, you may want to consider a more expensive inverter generator that produces "clean power"

Pricey BUT these are heavy duty aluminum, a perfect fit, and get the job done. I only needed 2 for a simple project (I chose these because I did NOT want to drill holes in my metal roof) - but had to get the 6-pack as that was the fewest available. Although the bolt on top was too big for my project, the aluminum was easy to drill and tap for my application. The 3 Allen screws provided a very secure attachment to the standing seam. I am very confident that what I attached to the roof will never move unless I move it.

Unfortunately, after installing the whole system, the two batteries drained and less than 24 hours without any activity and the solar panels did not even work seem like maybe the connector was not properly connected but did try another type of USB connected and it did not work with this particular camera

Great price on this well made transfer box. Installation was fairly simple but not easy as I had to drill through brick and route a power wire through my attic and down an inside wall into the closet where my breaker box is located. Yours may be easier to access. You will need some 10/3 with ground or larger wire to connect to the generator input box. If you cannot use a mechanical lockout, then this is what you need to make a safe and legal generator hookup. If you are not comfortable with the installation you should get a professional to install it for you. Still need to trim out box in photo.

This is a quality product, however I encountered and was able to overcome problems using natural gas as a fuel source which I will describe here in great detail. But before I get to the details, I want to explain why I persisted in trying to solve the problems. Most importantly, this is a larger generator than ones sold in box stores and will run my whole house including the 3-ton AC equipped with Soft-Start. It supplies 38 amps running and 47 amps surge. I have $1500 invested in backup, not $20,000 for Generac. This generator, like all generators, has a no return policy so unless I wanted to resell it to someone else, I had to make this one work. Another advantage is that my wife can start and connect it to the house herself as long as she does not have to move it. (It is heavy.) The service centers for Westinghouse do not have a natural gas supply and test only on propane. Natural gas has a lower energy content than propane and gasoline. It is required to replace the spark plug the generator came with (NKG BP7ES) or NGK BPR7ES. The R stands for resistor. The Autolite plug also works. Gap it to the wide gap of the range. It takes a hotter plug to ignite natural gas. There is also a problem with low pressure. The range of the generator for natural gas pressure is .2 to .4 PSI or 5.5 to 11 Water Column (WC). The gas pressure supplied by my gas company is 6 to 7 WC. Westinghouse’s customer service says to have a plumber install a regulator. This will not help! A regulator canreduce pressure, but not raise it. A plumber will tell you a larger supply line is needed, which also will not help. Increased volume will not make up for lack of pressure. The unit comes with a regulator, but it does not regulate pressure, rather it opens a valve when there is a negative pressure in the manifold (engine piston moving). It has a spring tension that can be modified to decrease the vacuum pressure in the manifold required to open the valve. To adjust it, you need to drill out the metal cap on the regulator with a small drill bit. It is pressed in and will come out with the drill bit. This regulator is a safety device to stop the flow of gas when the engine is not running. Make sure to have the gas off when doing the drilling. Turn the adjustment counter clockwise all the way open. Turn on gas and start the generator. Adjust the regulator screw clockwise until the engine starts to run rough, then turn regulator screw counter clockwise slowly until the engine runs smoothly. Go two more turns counter clockwise. The generator will start and run smoothly. If not, adjust more. Check for the smell of gas with generator off and the gas on. You can cap the regulator hole with a wooden dowel. Decreasing the spring tension made the generator run with more power. It took roughly 20 hours of my time to solve these problems. I had my gas company come out and check my gas pressure. I had a plumber come out and give his advice. I talked to companies that supply conversion kits. Each one gave me another piece of information all included in this review that led to solving this problem. My persistence paid off. With this knowledge one can make these adjustments in less than an hour!

8W was either hopeful or dishonest. I've tested other panels that claimed 5W and the resulting numbers were very similar. Even calculating the power output using the highest open circuit voltage, these still only reach 3.59W. On the sunniest day and using a perfectly matched impedance, you may increase the current and reach close to 5W, but I'm skeptical. The other panels that I tested are the same size. Either these are intended to be hyper efficient or someone lied about the power output. They can still work for your outdoor cameras, but don't inflate the numbers.

I’ve been using this MPPT controller for a little over a month now and this has been a rock solid unit. The WiFi gives you detailed information about the power conversion for the last day, last week, and last month. The fan is a little bit noisy when power going into the unit is above 300W. I’ve tried using a single 200W panel, two x 200W panels, and two x 320W panels and it has worked without any need for intervention. Solid unit with good power conversion efficiency.

Whether I’m hiking, camping, or just need a reliable backup power source, this product has quickly become an essential part of my gear. Foldable Design: Convenience on the Go One of the best features is its foldable design. It’s incredibly convenient to pack up and carry around. The panels fold neatly, making it super easy to store in my backpack without taking up much space. This portability is a huge plus when I’m on the move and need to save room for other essentials. Lightweight Yet Robust: Built for Adventure Despite being so lightweight, this solar panel is surprisingly robust. It’s built to withstand the rigors of outdoor use—from bumpy trails to unpredictable weather—without adding extra weight to my load. I’ve taken it on several trips, and it’s held up beautifully, proving that it’s as durable as it is portable. Powerful Battery: Reliable Energy When I Need It The battery is another standout feature. It’s powerful and efficient, providing reliable charging for all my devices. Whether it’s my phone, camera, or other gadgets, I can count on this battery to keep everything running smoothly. It’s reassuring to know that I have a dependable power source, especially when I’m off the grid. Impressive Charging Performance I tested it under the sun at noon, and I was impressed with how quickly it charged.
