Usually the center pin for an XT60i connector has a reference to ground, or sometimes power. Many power stations use this to control charging current. For my EcoFlow Delta 2, the charging is limited to 8amps with the car charger (which references the center on to positive). From what I can find online, it seems that the center pin needs to be grounded to get over 100watts charging input to the Delta2. This cable doesn’t register a reference with my meter, it’s just open circuit between center and ground, and open circuit from center to positive. BUT IT WORKS. I’m not sure if what I found online was accurate or not, but I was able pull up to 190watts with my 200watt panel, and it’s winter here, short hours and weaker sun. From the looks of it, if you need to reference the center pin to something you can just carefully cut off the shrink tubing and have access to the pins and could solder a jumper in there, but it’s not needed on my Delta2. I’m also only running 4-5A on my panel, so when I add another, if I’m limited, then I’ll jump it. The listing doesn’t mention the center pin reference, but I thought it was important to know. For the price, this is a good deal if the center pin reference isn’t important to you or you’re willing to modify the cable. The MC4 connectors appear to have decent pins and come pre-installed. The wire is listed as 10am, but I’m not 100% sure about that. I used some other 12awg and 10awg wire I have as a reference and this seems to fall in the middle, but that’s only looking at the outside diameter and not cutting the wire open. I like that the positive and negative are together and not separate.

This review is for the Ansoufien 10 foot, 10AWG XT60 Extension Cable In every product photo, it looks like two conductor cable is used. It is not. This cable is made from two single conductor wires with heat shrink tubing used in a few places to help keep the cable organized. Overall, I really like this cable. I like the heavy 10 gauge wire and the over molded XT60 connectors. The conductors themselves are very flexible and easy to position. It is just a nice cable to use.

Build quality is about average for panels, they perform as rated with a good tilt, full sun, and facing solar south as do most panels. They do the job I intended them to do charge up a battery generator with 2kWh capacity.

This is my second time order one 400W solar panel for power station use. GreenMagic 400W is very nice product after i checked out, i want put more details below: The package has one 400W solar panel/around 10fts cable/multi-connectors/parallel kits for MC4 connectors/Manual. I had plug it in my power station from 10:00am-5:00pm, Charging performance is very good. The highest charging power can be around 330W and it dropped some due to summer hot weather i guess. Besides the charging performance, it also has some nice features what i noticed such as obviously lighter than my first 400W solar panel,it has multi connectors for match many kinds charging ports needs, came with parallel MC4 connectors for 800W power use(2 * 400W), Finally the price is very good compare with quality of others brand solar panels. Expecting GreenMagic can launch more nice products soon.

This thing is awesome! Was glad I was able to snag it on the deal tugapower.net had going, came with the OEM bag which I would highly recommend the bag as well. Will be taking this on adventures both with my DJI Air 3S bird as well as outdoor adventures and camping excursions. Extremely well made as you would expect from DJI and I expect years of service out of . Well worth the money.

I have a 13kw generator but with this last hurricane, I could not get outside to set it up for over 4 hours. We had to throw out some food in the refrigerator. I decided to bite the bullet and try a battery backup system. I liked the Anker Solix because it provided a 50amp and a 30amp 240v outlets, where others you had to combine 2 units to get 30amp 240v. I received this two weeks ago but finally got to run a test on this unit today, which is the F3800 plus one battery pack. I have a 30amp receptacle wired into the panel, which is what I used to plug my generator into. Mine is a manual switchover whee I have to turn the main breaker off first, connect the generator and then turn the 30amp breaker on to provide power to the home. Instead of plugging in the generator, I plugged in the Anker F3800 using the 30amp outlet. My home is 1800sf, gas heat and cooktop and a 3 ton A/C unit. It ran all of this fine except for a little light flicker when the A/C kicked on. Will probably order a softstart to reduce the initial amp draw. I am thinking of installing an automatic transfer switch and leaving the Anker F3800 plugged into it so I can have immediate power without having to go through the manual process of switching power. I tested the unit for a little over 3 hours, letting the A/C start and stop multiple times. I started out with a total of about 10 hours of run time with just the lights, TV and refrigerator on, pulling between 650-700 watts of power. When the A/C kicked on, it showed about 2 1/2 hours of run time as it was pulling about 3900w. Once the A/C turned off, it adjusted back to 9 hours. After 3 1/2 hours of testing, it showed I still had 8 hours of run time with just the lights, TV and refrigerator running. I know this will not carry me through a hurricane where we lose power for days or weeks but when the battery power is used up, I can start my generator, run the house and recharge this unit. May look at solar panels in the future. Over all, even though it is expensive, it is doing what I want it to do. For those reviews that said the fans are extremely noisy, I did not experience that so they may have fixed it with a software upgrade.

Qickly got the parts from tugapower.net. The Powerstation 500Wh with accessory were complete. The solarpanel 100W with accessory were not complete, I got 3x! cable MC4 to Anderson cable, but the cable MC-4 to 5,5x2,1mm was not included, also the 3 adapters from 5.5x 2,1mm to 5.5x2,5mm, to 7,9x0,9mm, to 3,5x1,5mm were not included. Thall ist in function very well, if the solar panel is connected to the powerstation it's pssible to use USB charger an, the 12 V DC outut, f.e. a camping freezer, but 110V output is by charging with Solar panel off. the combination is good, it's whar I wanted, but by charging and consumption of f.e. the freeezer with 50W the cooler Van ist some noisy. What is very bad, thad y got 3 same cable MC-4 to Anderson and no the charge adapter 5,5x2,5 to other diameters. Something more, outside it's very dificult to see the display of the powerstation.

  • Arrived over a day early (thank you so much) and my 23 yo daughter and myself (51 yo woman) just turned one of the window ac units to fan FROM ac. Got chilly...only about 4 hours after delivery, set up and a run to buy gas and go to Home Depot where all of the multi outlet cords were gone :/ In Houston without power since Monday. MONDAY. I should've bought one sooner but was intimidated. Shouldn't have been. Seems very loud but it's my first one. May check out adding a propane one in case gas is hard to come by again...like earlier this week. Will come back if I have to whine or ask any questions okay? Previous commenters helped me go with this one. After a very hot 5.5 days, this costing around $400 feels like a steal. Currently running 2 window ac units and a power strip with 2 monitors, a gaming pc, and we're charging our devices off of it. Plan on adding a dorm size fridge when a capable cord comes in. Fingers crossed. We'll be ready with confident generator usage this hurricane season. AS LONG AS I CAN GET GAS! Picture is something the manual didn't mention in the starting instructions. A neighbor I asked to crank it up told me. This lever needs to be in this position to start. GOT IT? Good, very good. Edit: one tank lasted 14 hours running both window units and the power strip (plus internet). Checked the oil, all good. It was an easy gas refill, the auto start didn't work but pulled the handle once and it fired right up (like when the neighbor did it). So pleased, life isn't miserable now!

Quality of the solar panel is very good of similar quality to a $300 outdoor camera I have. Came with all the hardware needed and it appears to be stainless steel screws and nails. At first the method for adjusting and tightening the panel was odd and different than others I had done in the past. But once I figured out how it worked it appears that it will lock into place and hold its position. So far we've only had 15 mph winds so I have not really been able to give it a thorough test. Most importantly it is completely powering my Blink Outdoor 4 camera. The package includes more than enough cable clamps to neatly hide the wiring. They are perfectly sized to clip onto the wire making installing them very easy. No need to use pliers to hold them in place while you are trying to nail them in. Much appreciated when you are on an extension ladder. If I experience issues in the future, I will come back to update the review, but for now all is good.

I bought this panel after having issues with poor output from another solar panel here on tugapower.net. This panel has a number of really nice features - it is lightweight while not feeling flimsy, has a kickstand to better face the sun, the cord and a built-in USB-A/USB-C plug with indicator LED are stored in a built-in waterproof zipper compartment in the back. It came with a number of converter jacks, but the stock jack works with my solar generator, so I haven't had to use them. I have been able to measure output in the 4-5 Amp range on a normal sunny day. I would highly recommend this panel to anyone looking for a nice sturdy travel panel at a good price.

  • This is the product you get. On their pic they make it look like the 4 adopters are long, if you look at what I got its short. The whole point of me buying this was because they were supposed to be long.

This is a lightweight solar panel that is going to excel for some situations and fail badly in other ones. First, let’s go back to the Back to the basics: A solar panel must be aimed at the sun such that the panel is as close to 90 degrees as possible to the sun’s rays to achieve the full output power of any given panel. I know how to aim a flat panel, but how does one aim a curved pane? I do not know how to aim curved panel. Please look at the one picture that I attached to this review. When I aimed and tested this panel, it produced about 45 watts of power which is what I expected and hoped for. Please look closely at this picture and notice that I used a small aiming guide which tugapower.net does sell. It is known as a Solar Angle Guide for Solar Panels. I strongly encourage using one of these solar guides when you are setting up any solar panel and I do mean any panel from 10 watt to 400 watts. In my experience, all solar panels typically produce about 75% of the power that they are rated for and that is in good sun conditions. The average good quality 100-watt single sided panel will produce about 75 watts on a sunny day, provided it has been properly positioned. Just because this panel can be installed on a curve does not mean that it should be. When a panel is installed on a curve, seriously how much of it can be aimed at the sun? The point that I am trying to make is that if only a portion of this panel is actually aimed directly at the sun at any one time of the day, then its power output is going to drop. Instead of 45 watts per hour, you may only be able to receive 20 watts per hour. Or, you may get almost nothing. I am still thinking about how I will permanently mount this panel. I will probably mount this panel high up, fully making use of its light weight. I will support it with bungee cords and rope and attach the MC4 extension cables to it from above. It should do very well in a high mount. I will attach the MC4 cables to it from above, so that the weight of the extension cable is supported by rope and cabling. I do not want the MC4 extension cables to place a stress on the cable connections on the panel. I am giving this panel four stars mainly due to the short MC4 power takeoff cables attached to the sides of the panel.

I had a nice sunny day to put this charge controller through some tests. It has some nicer features, such as it tested fine with higher end LiFePO4 and SLA batteries and is extremely simple to set up. The settings are all preset, so all that's needed is to select the correct battery chemistry. The connections are very convenient, with a removal terminal block and more than ample room for heavier gauge wire than most. The manual states 130V max input on its first page (not in the specs grid, though it should be clearly noted there) and 600W max in the spec sheet. I ran one of my spare 540W 49VOC bifacial panels into it for testing, but I will be connecting two of them in series mounted on the RV and the charge controller will feed our 300Ah LiFePO4. While it performs well, it's worth noting that it lacks some features that are pretty common in similarly priced units. There is no way to change the presets, there's no communication capabilities, no LCD, no temp sensor (optional add-on), and the aluminum case is the heatsink but there's only around 1/4" space in the back of the unit. At least it's not mounted totally flush, but when it's quite hot out, the solar string is pushing lots of power, and the battery is soaking up the charge, the unit would likely benefit from more clearance and better airflow. It seems a bit spendy when comparing it to many of the bargains out there right now, however, many of those bargain units have a huge fail rate. If I run into any issues with this charge controller I'll update the review.
