I haven’t used it but it looks what iam looking for. Easy to operate and nice packaging. Its always good to have two options. I think it’s not that bad Have a generator for this price. I definitely recommend it
This is a fantastic kit. Everything is clearly packaged and labeled. The quality of the components is very good. The included instruction manual gives enough info to assemble but if you scan the QR code you can download a 52 page PDF with far more detailed instructions. The best part of the PDF is that it includes explanations of what things are, what they do, and how they work. There are also little experiments that it guides you through and little quizzes. There's also a QR code in the instruction manual to download an offline editor for the arduino This can be used with Windows, Mac, in Chrome, or via a Mobile app. Fantastic. They really thought of everything. It says suitable for all ages but I think it's probably most appropriate for ages 10 and up, perhaps younger if you're guiding the child through it. This is such a multifaceted kit and touches on so many different STEM topics. It's incredibly well thought out and it truly is something that kids of any age can enjoy and learn something from. This is truly a great and fun way to learn. The 18650 battery
Love this compact charger! It takes up little space (smaller and lighter than a 1 gal jug of water) and can charge all my gadgets no matter the plug (usb, type-C, AC, DC) and great on the go. It’s easy to transport. Bought to plug my keyboard into (since it’s not battery operated) and works perfect for several hours.
Works great charging my ac180 from 300AH Lifepo4 battery! I also like that I can choose between 3,4, or 500watts. Setup and install is super easy.
This thing is HEAVY, I was not expecting it to be as heavy as it is. It is clean and looks like it belongs on the side of the house. I ordered this one for the feature of having the lid closed while plugged in, I am awaiting an electrician to install it so I mocked it up where it will be going and I am excited to have direct power from my generator to my breaker box. I live in Florida so it just makes sense with the hurricanes to have a generator outlet box since my generator is portable. I tested it with the cable I ordered and the whole thing is going to work perfectly. But the build quality of this is way beyond expectation, the design of the angled plug and rubber grommet to keep the lid closed is almost common sense but few designs feature it. And at this price point it makes it affordable to get this job done before the season starts. I am very happy with this unit.
I purchased 4 of these over a month ago and as of today found one actually melted down, thankfully not servicing yet but could have been bad. Sure they were easy to use, but I think I am using something without cables now, really sad. Buyer beware
Go outside and live your best life! With portable solar panels and portable battery storage systems, venture out into the wild and learn to live off grid for days at a time. No reason to not go now that you can have affordable renewable power. This cable set works great to couple my portable solar panels to my battery system.
UDPower customer service is trash and they lie to tugapower.net and customers. They also try to skim customer information in seller chat. So beware of that when buying this product. With that out of the way, it's a 600 watt hour bank with built-in inverter and a 120 watt solar panel. Not too big or bulky battery unit. Fairly light and slim design for what it is. Cable is very short and not standard. Full sunlight, 6 hours or less to charge. Easy to set up and use. Functions as a basic charging station for electronic devices while being highly portable. In full sunlight I actually got 121 Watts at one point. --edit-- After a couple weeks of using the panel only it has been rainy and cloudy for a few days. The bank wasn't getting charged so I went to use the wall adapter. The wall adapter I received was Dead On Arrival. The bank flashes a bit when the solar panel is in despite not having enough power to charge the bank, but the wall charger doesn't light up or do anything for the bank. I requested a replacement wall adapter from the seller and have low expectations since they lied about delivery info to myself AND tugapower.net support. If they lie to tugapower.net, I stand no chance as a consumer. I want a working wall adapter as intended but this might just end up as a full return despite being a half decent product. The batter bank and solar panel have been 10/10. UDPower Staff and this whole experience has been horrible though 0/10. BUYER BEWARE!
Occasionally the wind is blowing the wrong direction when I test run my generator - exhaust fumes drift toward the house and I need a little bit more distance than the 25 feet that my main cable can deliver. This short 10 foot extension gives me a bit, well, more. It's an extension for my extension. The ends are not quite as beefy as the full on connectors and the cord is not as flexible as the SJEOOW cord on my main cord, but since it's only for limited use, these compromises seem OK. Pricing is ALMOST competitive at $33 less an 8% promo - others go for $27-29. I knocked one star off for the missing bag and cord wrap (as shown in product page pictures - they were not included in the package I received). Makes me wonder a little bit about what other things (like INSIDE the cord) might be missing...
So far I am impressed. When I received my solar bank it was partially charged which was great! Because I have been without power for two days and iPhone going dead, I hooked it up. Within 25 seconds I charged increased. It’s still a wait and see though. Also, the light on the back/front displays as bright as the illustrated picture. So, cool! I can barely hear a sound from this device as well. It even lights my small table lamp.
This a very well designed solar panel, SunJack pretty much thought of everything and packed it into a relatively compact panel. It has two kickstands, a pocket to store accessories, the USB ports are waterproof (mine still works after getting hit with rain), folds up to a compact size, includes adapter cables so it’s compatible with just about any device. In direct sun I was getting around 34 watts from the USB-C port, making it able to rapidly charge any PD30 enabled devices. One downside is it’s a little heavy due to its construction and included kickstands, pocket and accessories, but that’s a good trade off for me.
Purchased this for my Ring Stickup Cam - Battery Model, it's a complete set of 2 Solar Panel Kits. Very easy to set up - comes with entire mounting hardware including the cable clips - very thoughtful. 10-foot cable is very convenient for mounting the solar panel at some distance. It comes with a C-Type to Ring Cam's Pin charger adapter, & it's ready to use out of the box. Ring App does detect the Solar Status as connected. It's slow charging in NJ winter - understandably, but will add an update in Summer days - I guess it will be an enhanced performance on sunny days. Frame built, wire, mounting hardware, and wire quality are good. Overall, very happy with this product, no complaints!
Light weight, nice quality, comes with all the essentials necessary to make the install quickly. I installed this trickle charger on a standby generator in order to maintain the battery for start ups. I now have had this installed for approximately a year and appears to be working great.
At time of order, this had the lowest price for 10AWG solar wires, at $100 for 2 x100ft. Quality looks good. You can see the copper strands in the photos. The package includes 6 pairs of connectors (2 extra after 1 for each cable end) and 2 wrenches. Those look ok too.
