   Our research suggested Jackery was the most popular choice for van conversions. But we did alot of comparison analysis of the “other” brands and came across the Vtoman Jump1000. It was a better battery technology and is safer. We got a great deal too. When we received our Vtoman with the two solar panels we were VERY pleased. It is beautiful, very compact and rugged. It feels very sleek. The solar panels worked very well. Its almost impossible to drain this battery with our 12volt van conversion purposes.

   After I got the generator, I charged it up to full and plugged my refrigerator into it to see how long it would run. After 24 hours, I was at 11%, and I called it.

   That weekend, I thought I’d see how well the solar panels worked. One of the solar panels was broken. The box that goes on the back had broken off, but it was still hanging on by two wires soldered into the box. It still worked, though. I was able to get 170 watts using both panels, and I charged it from 60% to 93% in about five hours.

   After that, I took a picture of the broken panel, emailed it to VTOMAN’s customer support, and got an email back from “John” the same day. He said he’d be sending me replacement. A day or so later, I emailed again asking about the tracking number he said he’d send. He sent me the tracking number the same day. Today, the new panel came in the mail, and it is not broken.

   So I’m very happy with the customer support and pretty happy with the generator and solar panels, too.

   This battery pack holds its charge! We used it for a weekend camping trip- for our phones, laptops, etc….. It used less than 10% of its juice. The solar panels recharge it just fine. I recommend this item. It’s a quality piece of equipment

   We purchased it for camping trips but soon found out it could be used for multiple purposes.
   It was able to keep my laptop running for several days during camping trips.
   It kept Halloween and Christmas lights on for hours since the front yard was too far to connect the cable.
   We could also plug two electric blankets to it during a blackout to keep elderly family members warm.
   The power station is quite heavy, so some people may need help to move it around. Other than that, we really enjoy using it.

   I love the Vtoman solar generator that I ordered from tugapower.net. It is easy to use for someone like me who is not a very “techy” person. The directions that come with the generator are easy to understand and the customer service from Vtoman is exceptional. I had no problem hooking up the panels to the generator. I haven’t used the generator yet since we haven’t lost power. I actually bought the generator to use in case we have power outages in the winter or anytime there is a bad storm. It’s a peace of mind knowing we will have some power to use my laptop, a light, the tv, and will be able to keep the refrigerator going during an outage!

   I’ve been amazed with the UI interface of this portable battery, the functionalities it offers are robust and I’m happy for the quality it provides on the go. Included solar panels in my bundle have a good range of tracking the sun and charge rates.

   I purchased this to run a remote internet transfer station which requires 1.2 amps 24/7. It does that function, but turns off automatically every eight hours because of the low power draw. That shuts down my internet and requires me to physically go to the generator and turn it back on. I’ve tried adding power draw to the system starting at a 40 watt incandescent and going up to 300 watts. I have connected to a timer that turns on the bulb for 5 minutes every 6 hours. It still shuts down automatically. I contacted the seller to find out if there was a method for disabling the auto shutoff and received a very garbled response, telling me there was no way to turn off the auto shutoff and that I should add amperage draw, which I had already doe unsuccessfully. Has anyone else encountered this problem and if so, have you found a solution? If I could solve this I would change my rating to 5 stars.

   I bought this power station to camp at a bike rally in July. It was dry camp in a tent, so no power or water for 4days, three nights. I use a CPAP machine to breath better, and not snore and keep everyone else awake. This thing ran my CPAP, and charged my phone all night, ran a coffee pot in the am for about 8 pots, and people were charging their phones with it. That’s on one charge! A neighboring camp had a generator, so I didn’t have a chance to use the solar panels all day, but it charged up in a couple hours, and was ready for the next night. Awesome product! Plenty of power. The fact it charged up so quickly was definitely a huge plus!
