Customer requested this specific disconnect for his gen home hookup. You get what you pay for, seems to work but not sure of overall longevity I guess time will tell. Local disconnects range from $500-$1000. As far as USA electrical standards go this falls below those standards as the lugs are small and the enclosure is also overall small so it’s really hard to bend 2/0 or 3/0 wire in this tiny enclosure. If I were in a 3rd world country and I could feed an entire home with 8 gauge wire then I see this being the perfect fit.
Also not sure if this is ETL listed or not, if it isn’t and your install is being permitted in the USA it will most likely fail inspection.
