Great product to prevent having to continuously change dead batteries. Works great, good price.

We have a condo up in the mountains that we only get to visit a couple months out of the year, but we installed a Blink camera so we can check out the mountain views when we’re not there (and to get snow reports when we’re on our way there to ski). The summer temps only get to 65-75, and the winters get downright frigid which is murderous on batteries. This panel – so far – eliminates that problem. I just installed it when I was at the condo to ski, and the weather was overcast (it snowed 9 inches yesterday) with virtually no sun. Despite the cloudy conditions the panel charged sufficiently to keep the camera operating when I checked it a few times. Since this lives off a lithium battery, it’s hard to say how long it will last – and the battery is encased in the panel, and the panel is sealed so there’s no way to replace the battery when it dies. From that standpoint, it’ll take about 10 years to figure out whether the cost of this panel outweighs the cost of the batteries … the benefit for me is that when the batteries die on the condo cam I live 1000 miles away and can’t just change the batteries immediately.

Nada más muy bien

Works great for indoor use but would be a little concerned how it would hold up outside if use.
