The light is super bright and can be folded for free standing. The device also doubles as a power bank that can be used to charge devices. Great device for camping and emergency use.

   I’ve been looking at different solar chargers, and I decided on this Lumopal Portable Solar Charger with 24W Foldable Solar Panel, since it could store up to 100Wh, and deliver 65W via USB-C and 22W using USB-A. This would let this Solar Charger work with my MacBook Pro and my Samsung smartphone. I live in Phoenix AZ, and we are blessed/cursed with tons of sun. I drained the system by running the light panel and charging my laptop, and it took roughly 5 and a half hours of daylight (late morning to mid afternoon) to charge up the battery. I like how compact the system is; it folds up slightly larger than a sheet of paper, but has three solar panels that can be laid flat (I did this) or arranged in a triangle. I do some interview videos and being outside, I have plenty of time to setup this up and use it as a secondary power source if I’m away from any outlets or at different outdoor venues. I’m seeing a lot of thought in the design and how practical it is. While I’m not a big camping person, I can see how the system would be great to have; it’s lightweight enough and with common-sense planning, you can make sure you have power into the night. The fact that it is solar makes it kinda nice to use! There’s essentially no cost to recharge, and it so far has been very consistent in charge times given the amount of sun exposure we get. This Lumopal Portable Solar Charger is a nice investment. While I don’t wish for any blackouts, it’s nice knowing that a setup like this can handle emergency power if needed.

   I think this is more designed to be a power bank that can be re-charged with solar power more than a solar bank that stores power. I’ve set it outside in full sunlight, laid flat with all three panels upwards, for two sessions of each about 4-5 hours and it is still not fully charged. That actually matches the advertising where they indicate it could charge in 9 hours. A direct plug will get it full in 3.5 hours they say.
   Combining that charge time with the weight and size and I am not considering this to be a camping tool. You can estimate the size from the pictures but I could not find any mention of the weight anywhere. I put it on the scale and its 3lbs 5 oz.
   It does have some strapping and hanging holes so that is nice but I consider it to be more a truck thing than a backpack thing and clearly, it’s best charged before you go and you can hope to get more duration out of it from the solar.

   Product is working well to charge up electronic devices. I must have for those that enjoy the outdoors or being away from home to keep your electronic devices charged. Have used over and over he can use to continue to charge products. Well built, recommend using as a secondary source of charging Your items.

   I like this thing a lot. It combines a power bank/battery and a solar panel in 1 unit. Many tend to be separate solar panels alone or just a portable battery. The capacity of this is good. It has USB C and USB A ports. The juice itself dishes out is not ultra fast, but it’s good enough for most purposes and hardly a trickle. It is heavier and bulkier than some solar panels of similar size, but this includes the power bank, so extra weight is to be expected. The included light is useful. I mostly use other flashlights and lanterns, but this is a decent light. How fast it charges up with with the sun depends on the sun and how clear it is outside. It charges pretty quickly via USB C. This thing is great for even just using as a regular power bank around the house but I can use solar charging, which is essentially free, instead of depending on the electrical grid and paying dwp.

   This Lumopal “LUM Pyramid Portable Solar Charger 99.9 Wh Solar Bank Equipped with 24W Foldable Solar Panel and Adjustable LED Camping Light, 65W PD USB-C, 22W QC3.0 USB-A Output” is a nice product. It is very useful, very versatile, and very portable. It is quite small, and almost ok to go backpacking with (all depending on how strenuous a backpacking you are going through). But for car camping, this is definitely a good thing to have. I also think it is a good thing to have at home, for power outages; a friend of mine was hit by a sudden power outage, and his phone is running out of battery and he has no power banks, but it was a super sunny day, so he borrowed this unit from me (which I had in my car), and it saved his day. The battery in here is under 100Wh which allows it to be transported on a plane, that’s another good thing for this. Last but not least, the whole unit is “IP65 waterproof”, so you don’t have to worry too much if you do leave it outside and a sudden rain hit.

   I was looking for a solar bank to take camping. This thing is great! The solar panel is large, and this power bank is heavy. The flashlight is bright and has a handle to make it easy to carry. You can open this all the way or fold it like a pyramid. It only has two charging ports, one USB-C and one USB-A. This is great for the outdoors, especially when you don’t have access to electricity. When using the sun to charge it, you want to keep it directly in the sun to get it charged and not in the shade. You can also charge it through the USB-A port, which we will do to make sure it’s fully charged before we go on our trip. You can also easily store this away when you’re not using it, as it folds flat. I am giving this a five-star rating and would highly recommend it if you are looking for a power bank for camping or if you ever have a situation with no electricity.
