   Built a portable solar powered fence charger for livestock fencing. The solar panel puts out plenty of power to keep the battery charged, even on shorter daylight and overcast days. It is light weight enough to be portable and the frame is sturdy enough to withstand movement from one location to another. Shipping was as advertised.

   This is the first panel that I have had that actually gives over the rated output. Currently getting 57 Watts out of a 50 Watt panel!

   Average build quality but light, small and seems durable. Will be getting a 100 W version.

   Newpowa never seems to disappoint. I own a few different panels from them, and a 15Amp MPPT charge controller. This panel actually powers a micro-system in my son’s bedroom (see picture). This panel provides ample charge for his small system, with consists of a little PWM controller that has Lithium charging capabilities, a 12V, 24Ah LiFePO4 pack I built, and a little 200W inverter. Mainly used to charge his phone, iPad, etc and is wired up into some 12V LED strip lights on his ceiling. I would definitely buy again if I had a need for a 50W panel, or if space was at a premium, but truthfully, for the price, $15 or $20 more gets you a 100W panel, so there’s that…

   I mounted this 50w panel on my solar kiln next to my small 1 man Woodland Mills saw mill. Works great! I have 6 small 12v box fans (like are in a computer) to push air down through the ceiling solar heat collector channels to get down to the drying wood. In fact, it provided so much power for these fans, they were running too fast. I had to add a cheap (~$5) DC motor control to reduce the power and slow down the fans.

   High quality panel and I would recommend it.

   Solar panels are rated differently then what most people think. They use the highest output voltage and multiply that voltage by the current of a dead short. So a 50 watt panel will really only supply about 37 watts to a 12 system. Keeping this in mind when selecting a panel is the key to a good and successful install. This panel will deliver what it should in good sunlight. It is enough to run the autopilot and a bit left over. That was what I needed and it delivers! Solid build and looks good. I can’t ask for more.

   Love these 50 watt panels. I turned two of them into a solar suitcase, using casement hinges from tugapower.net and standard hardware. Initially got 92watts in springtime SC sun when cold. Consistently get 82-92 watts using EPEver Tracer BN MPPT into BattleBorn lithium batteries. Even got 100 watts for short times under varying (cold, clear) conditions. Better than my flexible ETFE for desert Boondocking on public land, place heavy rocks on the stands to keep the wind from blowing them over. Newpowa has superior customer service. I received excellent warranty coverage on a 60w panel I had issues with. I know others have reported damage during shipping, but I have received 5 different panels, very well packaged and with zero damage. Very happy with these panels.

   Great little solar panel, Packaged and protected well for shipping. Other solar companies could take a lesson from the packaging and protection this company used to protect their product from shipping damage. I ordered other larger panels via another company and two of them arrived completely shattered. Puts out the power as expected. Very sturdy and well build Panel.

    Bought this to replace a custom-built solar panel that the boys busted. It performs as well as a poly-crystaline panel a third larger; I was very impressed. Open circuit voltage was around 20v, and the current provided is more than enough to keep my deep cycle topped off to run my rain barrel pump, chicken coop lighting, and a little fountain pump. It’s amazing how cheap these are getting. I used to build my own panels to save money, but the price is getting down to my costs for building a similar wattage panel.
