   I have a Generx generator. My generator measured a little longer and taller than the measurements of this cover, my generator Is an inch longer because of the handle and a couple inches taller. I took a chance and it fits great. I purchased it after the last hurricane, so I haven’t had the opportunity to use it while the generals is running.

   This thing is the swiss army knife of generator covers. I don’t think there’s anything better out there. I feels like good quality materials. Time will tell how long the waterproofness lasts. I highly recommend this cover.

   I initially ordered the Akkkan Generator cover as a means to allow me to store my gas generator outdoors on our patio as well as offer it additional rain protection during runtime (when running under our Gazebo). Almost every time I have needed the generator, it has been due to storms. Stitching was a bit sloppy in some places, though it doesn’t seem like it impacts the cover in any negative way. The clear windows on the side allows visual inspection on any LCDs or other indicators such as lights or digit displays. A pocket is sewn on both size of the cover which allow some smaller adapters, I store short 3-outlet cords that I use to add more outlets to my generator. The cover came rolled up inside of a zipper pouch that could double as a cord organizer if the cover is intended to always live on the generator. The tugapower.net listing makes the cover look almost rigid, almost as if it had some kind of fiberglass bar skeletal structure, but it does not. It simply sits on top the generator looking all limp and sad. It didn’t seem to include any kind of directions, so I honestly don’t know what a good 30% of the clips and straps are for. Inner Velcro straps that look like they should be attached to the generator’s frame are also oddly spaced in the corners with one strap per side panel. This means that if a side of the cover is opened for exhaust, one of the 4 main body support Velcro straps needs to be removed allowing that entire side to just flap around in the wind. The material looks nice, seems waterproof and includes some nice reflective tape around the top. I was happy that there was an additional flat flap on the top that covers the refueling zippers which could have easily been a place where water would seep through. Overall, I wish the fit were better and that it was more solid appearing like the listing images, but one can’t expect a custom fit to a generic cover. My intended use was to begin to store my generator outdoors on our patio and this does seem like it would be more than enough to protect it from our usual rain storms and also protect the generator from rain if used outdoors.

   I did not get to use this cover. I did open it up and try to fit it on the generator. It was way too big so I wound up sending it back. I use the giant plastic tote over the cover just to seal the weather out think about bringing a generator in the house and not even use a cover. It’s just for storage cover I sent back would’ve been nice for running then other people said running at the covers would melt with the exhaust.

   Have not used it yet but it seems very well made & like all the openings & the secure ways to hold them. It fits our Westinghouse 18000/14000 generator although in description it doesn’t indicate it fitting that size. We’re pleased with the fit there is actually some room left not at all tight.

    Very satisficed with the generator cover as it fit perfectly. The last cover that I purchased (another brand and from another seller), require putting metal bars and plastic joint’s together to construct the generator cover. That cover ended up with broken and rusting parts due to weather. I like that you don’t have to remove the cover to use the generator. I would have liked the cover a little better if the top of the cover was harder rather than being pliable.
