- Efficient Wire-free technology: The Load Manager Module are self-aware and operate autonomously; automatically shedding the managed loads to allow the generator to recover if sensing a drop in frequency
- Customizable Load Prioritization: Prioritize essential items during outages by selecting load priorities. With support for up to 8 modules per system, you have the flexibility to manage multiple loads efficiently
- Enhanced Lock-out feature: The load Management features a lock out system, which permits blocking of specific loads only when using generator power, allowing for the important loads to be powered more often
- Convenient External LED Status: Easily monitor load status without the need to open the electrical box. The Load Manger Modules feature externally visible L.E.D. indicators, providing quick and convenient power management during outages
- Load Managers actively monitor frequency (Hz), when the connected load demands more power than the generator or inverter capacity, they initiate configured load management functions through options like delay or lockout

Arrived fast. This was connected to our wall ovens and the wife was happy to shopping for new ovens until I explained this module was not working and transferring power. Ordered the part, arrived the next day, installed in less than 30 min and ovens work fine. Now my wife wishes she married someone less capable as I am affecting her shopping experience!

The product was reasonably priced. Delivered in a very timely fashion. Product was easy to install & no control wiring to transfer switch as units work off of frequency.

The Generac 7000 50 Amp transfer switch is an excellent investment if you want reliability, high capacity, and peace of mind during a power outage.

Bought two of these to shed the load of the hot tub and the A/C condenser unit. Price was substantially less than electrical distributors were charging and way less than an electrician quoted me. Haven’t really tested them but several electricians who specialize in generator installs highly recommended this unit. They monitor the line frequency of the generator and if a large load connected through one of these is on and drags down the frequency of the generator, it cuts off the load for 5 minutes so the generator doesn’t stall. Useful when your generator isn’t sized for the maximum load your home could demand. In my case I have a 14KW generator (Generac) but it is somewhat undersized for my worst-case loads which would’ve required a 22KW generator. Recommended. Best if installed by an electrician – this is a hard wired device and you should be very familiar with electrical wiring if you are even allowed to do your own wiring in your jurisdiction.

The five stars is also how easy it is to swap out the top board. Took about 5 min. to swap out the top board. Total job with waiting the delay for ac to come back on was about 15 min. Diagnostics previous day was probably about 15 min to see the light wasn’t on and check for power at the incoming connections.
If it was hot we would have jumpered around the unit until the new board came. They should sell these boards separately considering how often they go out based on the other reviews. This is our first failure and it was at about 3 yrs since install.
1st pic. old board with burn mark on the back of it.
2nd pic. front of old board where you can see dark area around likely failed component.

so far one works. all 3 had to be replaced after 4 – 6 years. terrible quality. the electrician tells me that this new 7000 series is much more stable and he hasn’t had to replace one yet. these were relatively simple to install but you’re working with 240v high amp systems. make sure the contactor/breaker is off then measure for any residual should you want to change it yourself. typically, after disabling the source, i just short the leads to make sure the load is fully discharged. it’s simple enough to just match the settings of the module being replaced.

J’ai acheté 3 modules identiques pour faire du délestage sur la distribution électrique de la maison, sur des charges électriques importantes (2 chauffe-eau et le chauffage de mon garage) lors du fonctionnement de ma génératrice Générac 22kW.

This part saved me several hundred dollars in repairs costs. These are notorious for melting down and was not covered under warranty for us. Got tired of waiting for the service provider to contact us because it was causing the AC not to work in 90 degree heat, so I ordered this and installed it myself after a lot of research. If you are comfortable disconnecting and reconnecting some wires, it only takes a few minutes to install. I removed the insides and reused the existing housing. It has been working fine after a few months. May order another one as a spare.

This product came defective!!! Used with holes drilled and smelled burnt inside the box and the enclosure was cracked. I contacted customer service and they wouldn’t do anything for me. I spend a lot of money on tugapower.net and will have to rethink where I shop!!!!
