Before the Fleet 1000 from Youzu, I’ve bought and installed Victron and Pecron DC to DC alternator chargers. Also built two DC to DC converters from kits. Only the eTaker is still installed. So quiet, I barely notice when it is operating. It’s the only unit that I own that can pass through and combine my solar charge with the alternator charge. Most critically, No problem with automatically turning off when the car is not running so the starter battery remains reliable.

I installed this in my Ineos Grenadier to add additional power options when overlanding. I have the factory inverter but it is only good for 500w of output. So I added the eTaker hoping that I could charge it off from the onboard outlet while driving but this didn’t work. So I added the F1000 and it works perfectly. I am able to charge while driving during the day then run my camp lights, starlink, heater etc at night. I am only running my fridge off from the onboard inverter. When I get home the eTaker comes out and works as a USP in my office. This was so easy to wire in as well. Great and easy solution.

Product flack claims a button changes output from 500w to 400w or 300w for different power stations. Button stuck on 500w setting in first unit I bought so returned for replacement. Button on replacement does not work on this one either: won’t move off 500w setting so I can only use to charge my Bluetti AC1800 but not my little Jackery 300. Very disappointing. Should I return the second unit for a 3rd? Dunno.
