This 100 watt solar panel is truly portable. It folds in half, is very lightweight, and is incredibly easy to set up. The little rods (which store on the back of the panel) used as a kickstand are made of metal and do a great job keeping the panel at the right angle. It comes with a 3 meter cable (which terminates in a DC5521 connector), and also includes a variety of connection adapters and two other short cables which convert the cable connection to other standard connectors, such as MC4. All of the cables and connectors are easily stored in a mesh bag which can be attached to the back of the panel. I tested this panel with two different charge controllers as well as a couple of small power stations, and it performed perfectly. This is an outstanding portable panel and is a value at the price.

The wire coming out of the panel itself only seems to be 18AWG which is awfully small but honestly pretty common on 100W panels. Something to be aware of if you plan to hook multiple up in an array. The stands are just narrow sticks and they can be completely removed from the mounts. They could be a problem on softer surfaces and it’s always possible you’ll lose one. One of them was popped off during shipping it seems though it takes some force to insert them so I’d hope they won’t fall off in actual use.
