Using this as a UPS for the frig: after 35 days the Power 1000 failed. The AC section shut off. After more testing, I checked the DJI app and the settings were changed. Not sure how that happened because I do not leave bluetooth on and I shut down the phone every night. I re-intalled the firmware with the bluetooth dongle installed again. I have re-set the settings to have everything remain on. I unplugged the dongle form the unit and put the Power 1000 back in service. Hopefully it will remain on and do it’s job. Having the dongle removed should prevent a stray bluetooth signal from making changes. Could also be a firmware issue: time will tell. Other than this issue, it seems to be working as it should. Not completely confident with this product yet!

I bought this product 3 weeks ago on tugapower.net, I bought a brand new mini refrigerator that consumes 40w, I only use it for the mini refrigerator, the DJI Power 1000 only lasts 5 to 6 hours, it should last more than 20 hours of charging according to what I am finding out, on tugapower.net there is no return option for this product if it is damaged or defective, can someone help me with this? I am a DJI customer, I have two YouTube channels, I have bought drones, cameras, power banks, gimbals, etc.

Excellent expansion battery option, I’m using the Power Station 1000 + expansion battery as a UPS for my home network gear, and it has been performing well and keeping everything running during outages and power fluctuations.
The instructions for the expansion battery say to update the firmware on the main unit before hooking up the battery. The first time I hooked up the battery I got Err03 (external firmware issue) and the expansion battery was not charging. Running the same firmware update a second time with the expansion battery connected triggered an update of the expansion battery firmware after the main unit firmware update completed, and the battery worked perfectly after that. It’s not specified in the manual, but it was easy enough to find the solution.
