I thought it was going to be a simple hookup, which It was after I went online and looked up a video and watched it then I could install. In the instruction booklet that you get which is just a fold out, doesn’t do a breakdown on where the plug-in is located or how to get to it. I would think that that should be on a pamphlet as well in with the product.

I was pleasantly surprised that my Ring camera recognized this solar panel immediately. When I plugged in the panel, my camera was at 49%. Within 24 hours – in only partial sun – the camera battery was up to 60%. I’m still working on optimal placement for the panel, but it’s doing a great job for me. And the price was about half the cost of the Ring branded panel.
