Owned a MOES ATS and after reading the reviews got slightly concerned about back feeding inverters. This also sounds like it has a physical relay because you hear a click. I am hoping it’s better designed, I think it says flame retardant casing. Some of this manufacturers products have interlocks so I am hoping they have added at least some safety protections. The MOES feels a little better with its aluminum heat sink, you can also screw in the battery terminals, and an on off switch. One promising thing so far is the battery voltage reading is completely accurate. The MOES was several decimal places off out of the box. One down side is you can’t sent the low value higher than 12v for testing.

All said and done, this product works, however, it really should have at least a 1 pager with basic information for those that are not electricians. L is for your positive, N is for your white neutral line. It doesn’t appear that the product supports Green for grounding which is okay I guess for an RV. I had to connect the batter terminals to get it to work correctly.. again, would have been nice to have instructions. It seems that if both Shore Power and Inverter Power are connected, it will default to inverter power, IE, to get it to use Shore Power you need to kill the batter power to it.

It’s overall a simple piece of hardware. It’s display is easy to read and the setting menu is basic and easy to use. The terminals are solid. I only gave it a 3star on “Easy to use” because the instructions have no information on wiring it for North American 240v which it is advertised to be and is capable of. Most people would clearly figure out to substitute their L2(line 2) to the N(neutral) terminal on the AC connections, but others wouldn’t understand and/or would want reassurance of this through documentation. Aside from that it is a sound little transfer switch and performs great.
