seems well made. not able to get described wattage yet (winter and hard to get full sunlight). lower wattage is typical of what most solar panels advertise here. so not disappointed.

I had high hopes for this 200 watt type N panel but end up very disappointed. The package arrived opened, damaged, and obviously previously used. As for the panel itself, the lack of an attached storage pouch and no usable MC4 cables is a negative. Of more importance, while there does seem to be a decent ETFE, the three joints between the panels are so stiff as to make it difficult if not impossible to get the panel to straighten out. I feel that manipulating the panels pack and forth to try to loosen “hinges” would likely damage or break then. The rivets or snaps securing the fold out legs appear weak and not destined for long life either. Honestly, based on these design flaws it is pointless to even test whether the claimed TOPCON efficiency is a plus. This one is a fail and I cannot recommend it.

I have used this only once, as a test of its capabilities under very unfavorable conditions for a solar panel, and it did a great job. On a very cloudy day, at 3pm, with the panel at a 45 degree angle to the sun, and a phone and a radio on top of the panel, it was still able to fast charge the phone. Under those conditions I would expect it to be putting out less than 20% of the advertised power and that would not be a fast charge, so that is very impressive. It was still able to provide 19+V at the DC port.
The panel feels rigid enough that I am not concerned about breaking the cells under normal use. The metal grommets allow a variety of mounting methods and positions. The least durable part is the output port mound, which is plastic and has no rubber overcoat to prevent impact fractures. The rubber covering for the ports exposes all 3 when removed, and is absolutely not waterproof, just splash resistant, and is not exposed to the sun during charging. The size of the panel when folded is near identical to a 15.6″ laptop, just longer, if not counting the added girth due to the port mound.
