- 【Efficient and Pratical Solar Panel wire 】It’s a combination kit of 50ft black 10AWG solar extension wire and 50ft red 10AWG solar extension wire. Generally, 10AWG solar panel cable is the maximum diameter in home solar system that provide fast and stable transmission.
- 【25 Years Service Time】TUV certificate, XLPO material sheath and insulation , withstand Extreme heat and cold, working temperatures up to -40°F to 257°F (-40°C to 125°C), anti-ultraviolet, anti-corrosion and base, service life can up to 25 years.
- 【Tinned Copper Core】100% pure tinned copper core with low contact resistance, high current and high voltage load capacity, 84 strands 0.28 mm tinned copper wire are inside each 10 gauge wire, has better conductivity, thermal conductivity, and corrosion resistance than other common materials.
- 【Durable in outdoor environments 】The cable has an IP68 waterproof rating, which is durable in outdoor environments such as rain, snow, and wind, and is suitable for outdoor solar panels Roofs, boats, RVs, or cars powered by solar panels.
- 【Warranty Assurance】Pls contact us for any question or problem, we will solve your problem immediately and get you satisfied.

This wire is listed as TUV rated, but it is not printed on the wire itself, but compared to other TUV wire I have, it appears the same. The cross sectional diameter of the wire core is about 2.85mm, which is about 6mm squared, which is 10awg.
The wire appears a little bit thinner in overall diameter compared to some other wire I have, so I measured it and confirmed the measurements above. The wire core is the same, just the insulation might be slightly thinner (0.5mm overall diameter) and that’s probably just manufacturing differences and does not take away from my opinion of this wire.
I have done a lot of solar work, and would not hesitate to use this as PV wire for solar panels, jumpers, or extensions. The inner core is not aluminum clad copper, and is actual tinned copper (tinned copper is what you want, and this is it).

This item was less than $1 a foot for quality 10 AWG solar wires. That is a good price.
Nice thick insulation should endure the sun well. They claim it will last 25 years. Hard to predict, but it looks as good as other solar wire I have purchased.
I did measure the wire lengths and they were both 15′ as promised.
The listing has a picture entitled “How to wire off grid solar system”, reproduced above. It is not accurate, in that it depicts solar wire being used to come out of the inverter, to a double circuit breaker, and then more solar wire to an outlet. Solar wire is used between the solar panels and the controllers, etc., but NOT for inverter output. Everyone likely knows this

Looks high quality but not a pure copper cable. not recommended

This is true to size 10 AWG wire with a very thick insulation layer. The insulation layer should protect the wire from extreme weather. The insulation layer is also strong and thick enough to protect the wire from minor damage caused by humans or critters. The wire lays flat when unrolled and resists the recoil back into loops that some other wires have a tendency to do. The wire is tinned copper and true to size and specs quoted. It is hard to find good quality wire for solar systems. This wire performs well and we are very happy with it.

This wire has a very durable outside jacket/insulation to protect against abrasion and damage!!! I may have to strip off the outer jacket when fitting the MC4 connectors. I very much like that it uses tinned copper for higher current capability…very good value for the money. As this is a heavier 10 gauge, it might be a better fit to use for connections on a panel board where amperage handling is more critical as opposed to the solar panel array, especially if you are running series (high voltage) and can get away with using a lighter gauge wire such as 12g or 14g. Higher voltage does better over distance as it doesn’t require the amperage to do the same amount of work. Just fit accordingly and installation should be a breeze!!!

This will work fine for moving DC power.
