   I was glad to find such a quality plug to get our generator hooked up, this is the way to go! We had been using an extension cord and only able to get the frig plugged in but with this heavy duty cord and with the inlet box it is a game changer. Now during a power outage we love being able to have lights get the frig going and use the microwave if needed. This heavy duty 15ft cord 50 amp extension cord delivers durability without breaking the bank. It’s so easy to plug into the inlet and get the generator running. The weatherproof box is very durable opens and closes with ease. It comes with a great bag to store the cord in, really a great deal that works exactly as it should!

   This is a very nice heavy duty extension cable to connect our camper van to the 50 Amp outlets. The cable has 8 AWG wire with a thick insulated coating to protect the wires from damage. It is easy to roll up and unroll and is not too heavy considering that it is such a heavy duty extension cable. It comes with a nice carry handle that makes carrying and storing the cable easy. The male plug has a handy pull handle that makes plugging and unplugging easy. The screw locking mechanism is the same as on our camper and fits perfectly. The plug is ETL listed but not UL listed. This is a good quality extension cord that should serve our needs for many years to come.

   The plug box didn’t come with any wiring except for the ground wire— the 50 amp romex you need is sold separately for about $60+ or more or much much more depending what you purchase, luckily I had just enough laying around, it wasn’t pretty but it should work. I don’t know if this is normal or not but am disappointed

   no wiring included in the box for the outlet, you need to wire it yourself and buy the wire sold separately
