   Perfect, all you need to do is hook a generator up to your home for emergency power – Just remember to add a disconnect switch for the grid; that way, when the generator is running, nothing is running back down the lines. My neighbor is an electrician, so cutting it in was as simple as a 24-pack of his favorite brew. Couldn’t be happier

   I wasn’t happy with my generator transfer switch inlet because the plug was on the bottom of the inlet box which made it hard to plug the generator cord in. I ordered this combination set because it had everything I needed to safely run my generator from a distance during a power outage. The inlet box itself was very high quality with equally nice electrical components. It even has a green light to let you know if the inlet has power going to it or coming from your fuse panel. Installation was straight forward and only took me about 20 minutes to replace my old inlet box. With the inlet plug on the front, it’s so easy to connect the generator cord. The cord itself is very nice and easy to store. The plastic covering is more pliable than the cord I already have and the orange color makes it easy to see. Although I hope I don’t have to use it often, I’m glad I have this set! The price is right and the quality is great!

   This 25ft 50A generator cord with junction box arrived intact and in new condition, appropriately packaged within a generic looking box. The user manual is well worded and easy to understand. The bright orange cable feels thick and tight. It bears ETL and CC markings, though they are a bit difficult to see because they are imprinted instead of burned or printed. The junction box feels well made, for the most part. The plastic lid/hinge seems a bit thin, but it functions appropriately. It also came with a heavy-duty cord wrangler/handle that is convenient for use and storage.

   This is 15′ feet of heavy duty 50 amp generator cord with a secure twist plug and inlet box. The inlet box is sturdy and well made heavy duty galvanized steel. The cord is #6 wire for 50 amp and is well made with excellent insulation and heavy duty locking plug. Living in a Hurricane prone area, I have been wanting to have a generator plug to work with my solar panels and generator for sometime. I am very pleased with this power cord and plug box and I especially like the long cord so I can get my generator further away from my home so the noise and fumes are decreased. I think this generator plug is great. It is safe and exactly what I was looking for and I would recommend it.

   The cord works great with zero issues as you would expect from any generator cord. The thickness and build quality are exellent. Its really hefty and feels like it will last a very long time. It takes a while to lose its coiled memory from shipping, but it lays flat after some use.
