One of the bad reviews indicates that they couldn’t get a voltage reading off the cig plug. I had the same problem, however it works well when it is plugged in to a load. It must have a mechanism that won’t let electricity go to a load unless it senses one.

I got this to help recover and maintain the battery in a vehicle which sees infrequent use.
Even in the winter in Alaska, it has proven able to recharge the battery over the last few short days. I have been at work from dark to dark, but from checking the battery when I get home after dark, I can see that it is working.
The folding design means it can be easily stashed when not in use, or carried in a backpack for remote charging of phone, etc. The material is soft and I feel comfortable resting it on the windshield, using the wiper blade to keep it in place.
I think this is a great deal for a 30w solar panel, and like that it has a battery meter and USB options. Come summertime I might be able to test the actual power output, but I’m happy with its performance so far.

The construction of the panel is well made and seems to be durable. The electronics are another story. I plugged it into my cigarette lighter to maintain my truck battery from the dashboard, but it never made it to the dashboard before it let out all the smoke from the mounted control box. Sad because this does seem like it would’ve worked well for my purpose.
Update: After communicating back and forth a few times with the seller, they sent me a replacement. The replacement panel works flawlessly and tops off 800cca truck batteries over a day of good sunlight. The first panel I got must’ve had a flaw I guess. Great product

Looks nice,appears to be water proof and I liked the idea of charge controller built into the panel. Comes with a nice collection of cables and connectors to hook it up to a battery. There is a USB-C and USB-A ports to charge your devices. Those work great. There rest of it leaves much to be desired. I took the panel out into the sun on a lovely 10F day in Connecticut. I plugged in my Samsung phone and low and behold it charged. Excellent. Then I tried the 12V output from the coaxial connector. I connected the cable and checked to see if there was any output voltage with an external meter. Nothing. I changed the setting on the controller. Nothing. I checked the continuity on the cable and all the connections. Those were all perfect.
The coaxial cable would not stay in place on the panel. If you move in the slightest the plug moves and disconnects. This would have been a nice choice to keep my gardent tractor battery topped off it only worked.
