This 30 amp automatic transfer switch looks well-made. Although it has an enclosed cover, it is not sealed and I would not recommend it for outdoor use. It would be fine mounted in your electrical compartment of an RV.
I saw that this transfer switch has a double pole double throw switch, so I intended on using it for 220. You would just run your neutral wires to the bus bar and use one side of the 220 for switching. However it does state that is for 120 V, so I certainly wouldn’t recommend to use 220 on it.
Be sure that you only want to transfer 120 V not 220 as most RVs and generators are. According to the instructions, this would not be for use on a 220 circuit.

This 30a automatic transfer switch looks very similar to other units I have used in the past. I was happy to see that it came with Wago connectors. Take a look at my video review and decide for yourself.

Added this to my van to allow me to easily and automatically switch 120V input between shore power and on-board power station/inverter. Took a few minutes to figure out what all the connections were and how to wire it in, but it works great and I am very happy with it. I like the extra output connection to charge the on-board batteries which is only live when plugged into shore power. I have subsequently also wired a trickle charger to that output as well to keep the van starter battery topped up when parked in my garage and plugged into shore power.

This is Ok to Good. I was not impressed with the aluminum wiring. Nor were the gauges of wire chosen properly in my understanding of the NEC. I rewired mine to bolster its performance. I’ve had it installed now for about a month or so. Relay seems to work well. Have had no issues in that regard. Seems made sturdy. I had no issues terminating 10AWG conductors as far as sturdiness goes.

I’ve had this installed in my RV for 3 months now and so far it’s doing what it’s supposed to.

It was very easy to install. Would not recommend using it in a Rv without changing wire to 10 awg it’s pre-wired with 14 awg wire I ran 10 awg to it but the pre wired part couldn’t handle the 30 amps the prewired part burned out and caused issues with other things! So wouldn’t recommend unless you rewire it with heavier wire
