I wasn’t sure what to expect with this transfer switch. I will be using it in my off-grid camping spot. I was surprised that the case is a fairly lightweight plastic. I had not anticipating needing to put it in a protective housing, but the with the light weight plastic and the small gaps for the cabling knockouts on most sides, this will need to be protected from both the elements and getting bumped or hit. I am currently assembling input/output cables and box, and it has gone well so far. I’ll update this once I have it installed at my camping spot.

Good item and did wat I need . Cud be a bitter thicker walled plastic box. The ground bar is ok but cud us more space from the side of the box to get ground wires in better.

Something is very wrong with the internal wiring. After it switches over, the output has the neutral and ground reversed.

Plastic box feels cheap. Luckily, I’ve mounted this inside my trailer in order to have an automatic switch from a front power cord to a rear power cord. So far it functions as expected.
Easy to install. Good value. If you’re not expecting a durable weather tight box, this will likely be a good purchase for you.
