I bought this unit because is said that it can produce up to 430cfm. I used the provided ac adapter and not getting anywhere close to that. I have a vornado air mover that puts out a max 240cfm and it move alot more air than this.

I would have given this fan a great review but it has a flaw so big that it’s simply unusable for some applications.
THIS FAN MUST BE TURNED ON MANUALLY EVERY DAY. The ad doesn’t tell you that.
When the fan runs at night the battery runs down and it turns off the controller box. The next day the battery will charge again but the fan will not turn back on by itself. You must push a button on the controller box for it to start. This means you can only use it in situations where someone will be there to turn it on.
If that works for you, then this is a good choice, but if you need it for a shed or attic keep looking.

So far very happy with this solar fan kit. Does not move a lot of air, but helps keep the dust down and even makes it slightly cooler in my shed. Solar panel keeps batteries charged even late in the day when the sun is low in the sky. Good product for a good price. Hopefully it will last a while.
