   Exactly what I needed for my generator. I needed a nee extension cord for my generator to run items when the power gets knocked out to my shed. I have freezers in my shed that require back up power whenever the weather gets crazy. With high winds this keeps my system running when the wind knocks out my solar power.

   The L14-30P male connector of this cord is compatible with my older model Generac portable generator, and allows me to move the generator farther away from the house. When you lose power after a hurricane in Florida and the AC is off, you need to open windows for ventilation, and this reduces the possibility of carbon monoxide coming in through an open window. The other end of this cord has four 120v outlets, the same number as are on the generator itself, and considering the thickness of the cable, it is surprisingly flexible.
   The outlets have different colors, so you can balance your larger loads across the generator’s output. For example, you can plug the refrigerator into the yellow outlet and the garage freezer into the gray outlet.

   The Acxccdn 25 foot generator extension cord converts the 240VAC NEMA L14-30 to separate dual 120VAC standard 3 prong outlets that are protected by 20A circuit breakers built into the quality outlets ! This 10 gauge 25 foot extension cord is made for the outdoors, direct sunlight rated, and is waterproof. This product was tested under load and performed flawlessly. This was the product I was looking for to power all of my indoor 120VAC devices directly from the 240VAC generator outlet. Overall product quality is very good, the 120VAC 3 prong sockets are very solid and I really like the integrated 20A circuit breakers in each 120V phase.

   This cord is nicely made and very thick. This fits my Firman tri-fuel generator and will allow the use of both phases of the 220V to generate dual 120V outputs. (note – it doesn’t convert 220v to 120v, it splits the 2 phases off into 2-120v legs). Firman includes an adapter like this, but it’s only 2′ long. This is essentially the same, but 25′ long which will allow me to use my 120v cords further distance when I’m running off the generator. And it has 4 outputs – 2 on each phase, giving me more available 120v plugs on the generator. In reality I hope I don’t have to use this much for the hurricane season here in FL, but if I do need the generator again, this will be a big help. It’s nicely constructed, thick heavy-duty wire yet is flexible, and has a nice carry strap. Overall, I’m very happy with this.
