   I purchased this exhaust extension kit to improve the safety and noise level of my generator in the shed. Installation was relatively easy, although I did have to adjust a few parts for a perfect fit. The muffler silencer did a great job of reducing noise, and I no longer have to worry about exhaust fumes building up. It’s a solid product, and I really appreciate the extra accessories like gloves and the flexible hose. Highly recommend for anyone looking to make their generator safer and quieter!

   Bought this kit so I could place my generator in a shed and extend the exhaust to the outside. First flaw, the flexible pipe’s inner diameter is too big to fit around muffler and adapters which would not seal even with the clamps torqued down. Second, the muffler design is too restrictive. It caused my generator to backfire so loud it sounded like a gunshot. Luckily the generator was not damaged and still functional. I ended up using the supplied adapters and buying a proper fitting flex pipe from autozone and ended up not using the muffler. This kit is expensive and I wish it was better inspected before released to the customer.

   The seller reached out shortly after my review and was able to resolve the issue. Although the product did not fit my need, the customer support was excellent.
