Needed a way to connect my RV’s 30-amp outlet to my home’s transfer switch, and this little adapter does the job. Feels sturdy, plugs in securely, and no weird fit issues. The molded plug grips are perfect too so it’s easy to plug and unplug.
The cable itself is thick and flexible. Connections are snug. Ran it under load for a few hours, no heat buildup or loose connections, so it’s doing what it’s supposed to.
But if you’re looking to go from a TT-30 to L14-30R setup, this works.
For the price, it’s a good buy. You can spend more on a fancier one, but this does the same thing. Would grab another if I needed a backup.

This is just an initial review — just received it and have yet to connect to power source. One piece of “missing” information is an actual schematic/wiring of the connectors – so I had to ohm it out. Maybe this info is somewhere and I missed it. The cable I received has the hot side of the TT-30P terminal feeding BOTH X and Y terminals of the L14-30R (wired together) . This is exactly what I wanted since I want to feed my generator output to both sides of an electrical panel. Some cables/adapters only wire X OR Y (and dead-end the other)… which may be what other people want but doesn’t work for my application. The vendor could help by providing an image of the schematic/diagram in their web posting. Others should not take a chance and be sure to ohm out their cable to make sure they know what is connected.

This adapter cord allowed me to use my long extension cord with the L14-30 plugs to run power to my camper, very pleased and would recommend.
