   Seems to be good quality. Very helpful to have extention on solar panel. It is no longer necessary to move the power station. Now I just move the solar panel to maximize solar input. Definitely would buy again.

   Not much to say but they are good quality. Just make sure you keep the little wrenches as you need it to disconnect the positive side the future. It’s guarded unlike most MC4 and the prongs of the wrench slip under the guard to release the locks.

   I bought this cable so I would not have to carry the solar generator outside to sit next to the solar panels. The (heavy) battery unit can stay inside and the solar panels can be outside in the hot sun. I want the sol-gen to be near the fridge, so I don’t use an extension cord. This cable brings solar to the box. The 50-foot length allows it to snake out the back door, so I don’t have any holes in the walls or windows. It is temporary (like a power outage) and is simply rolled up when I am not using it.

   I’m still learning about solar and I didn’t know how much the sun shifted during the winter. I had all my panels perfected placed during the summer and thought that was it. Now that it is winter, my perfect placement for summer was mostly shaded all day. I ended up having to move my panels farther out 20 more feet. I could have just bought another 20′ of wire and connected it to my existing wire, but ultimately decided to buy this 60′ set so it’s just one string. The quantity of this wire seems good, but I didn’t take it apart and make sure the gauge was correct. When I do, I will update this review with my findings. Also: The wire isn’t really red, it’s more of an orange color, I thought that was kind of strange, but not a big deal, but wanted to make everyone aware reading this before their purchase. What I did really like was the free tool that was included, I have never used one before because I made my own. This is way better than my homemade one and I was glad it was included with my purchase. Next step is to build a movable ground mount to I can change locations easy, when it’s done I will add to this review with some pictures of it.

   Introduction: • I needed an extension cord to connect my indoor solar charger to my outdoor solar panels. I tested the extension cables with an electronic meter to determine if there was any voltage drop. Pros: • The cables appear to be excellent quality. • There was no measurable drop in voltage. • The price seemed reasonable. Cons • The female connectors had a plastic bridge over the release tabs (not shown in the ad pictures), which prevented easy access. I ended cutting he plastic bridge. Conclusion • I recommend this product.

    I’ve bought a number of the 10 gauge, 60′ cables and they seem to be good quality. However, with most cables you can sometimes pinch with your fingers to release, or use a standard MC4 tool, but not with these. The product pictures do not show this, so I’ve included one. I have a number of MC4 tools from dealing with MC4 over the years, but none of them will release these cables. They do provide a tool that will work, but it would be nice if a standard tool worked. They don’t seem to sell the tool itself, and I haven’t been able to find it anywhere. Still a good cable. If I need more and the price it right, I’d buy again.
