This transfer switch is a really good safe way to transfer energy during a power outage. This is much better than the old way of back feeding an outlet which can overload that circuit and can cause a fire. The switch arm throws nice and brisk locking in position like it should.

Not ul listed. Simplest way to state this is this product is not legal for electrical use anywhere in the United States. One would also assume it has not ul listing because it isn’t safe enough?

I’m reviewing the: “Manual Transfer Switch 100 Amp NEMA 4X, Generator Transfer Switch…”
I’m not an electrician, but I’m happy with this item. I had my electrician look it over in anticipation of installing it later. He said it was a good product, well made and will be easy to install.
I did notice that there was a little binding in the switching mechanism, but it probably won’t be noticeable after a little breaking in period.
