I seriously was hesitant to use this without checking with my buddy who knows a little more about electrical circuits and electronics. I know it’ll work persay but I want to be safe and not burn my place down because I’m afraid of asking questions. I found out that I was completely correct in getting this for my NEMA port. I actually have an older outlet that was used for Air-conditioning. Once summer is gone I was thinking about using this electrical outlet for a heater. (Because the old A/C hole with windows is cooler near there). I have no doubt this will be valuable and functional for my needs. I do like the build quality and the quality of the materials. Proves to be a great value for sure. Plus now I’m more comfortable with not thinking about anything dangerous happening.

Used this when rehabbing a small condo for my senior mother, no need for a large range or cooktop, this allowed to split the circuit to 120v for smaller cooking appliances. The only thing though i find confusing is listing states max 5000 watts, 2500 watts/leg. But the cord rating is max 3750 watts so err on the side of caution what max combined watts are you’re plugging into this.
Edit: but now that i think a 20 amp 120v device would be limited to 1800 watts so say you used a coffee maker, air fryer, hotplate, etc those would max out at 1800 watts each within the cords specifications.

This power cord adapter made my electrical issue easy to handle. I can easily go from 240V to 120V, 50 Amp to 20 Amp, in an instant. This is a must have item for any household. Highly recommended!

I bought this to be part of my traveling EV charger kit. I’m not sure I’ll ever use it for that considering it’s basically a 120V outlet but you never know! One caveat: NEMA 10/50 is an outdated and ungrounded outlet. Due to it being ungrounded, many experts discourage it’s use as an EV charging outlet. Otherwise, it seems to be built well at a good price. If this fits your needs, why not!
